Lyrics

Songs of Hope and Comfort

Here we are in your presence
Lifting holy hands to You
Here we are praising Jesus
For the things He’s brought us through.

I don’t have the words to tell You how I feel,
I just don’t know what I can say
I’m not worthy to speak Your Holy Name,
Yet You tell me You love me just the same.

Here we are in Your presence
Lifting holy hands to You
Here we are praising Jesus
For the things He’s brought us through.

I never thought that it could be this way,
And I never thought I’d be the one,
But You found me dying in my sin.
And You looked at me with love that took me in.

Here we are in Your presence
Lifting holy hands to You
Here we are praising Jesus
For the things He’s brought us through.
For the things He’s brought us through.

O, I know you may get weary,
And the times they may get rough.
You may not have all you want,
But you’ll always have enough.
And when your darkest hour comes,
Just remember what I say:
I’ve never seen the righteous forsaken,
Or their seed begging for bread!

O, I know it seems so hopeless,
And you don’t know what to pray.
You’ve done all you know to do,

And it seems there’s just no way.
And when you feel you’re at the end,
Just remember what I say:
I’ve never seen the righteous forsaken,
Or their seed begging for bread!

I’ve never seen God’s people
With a need that He could not meet!
I know that He cares for His own,
And His promises He’ll keep.

So just hold on a little longer
The answer’s soon to come.
The endless waiting’s almost over,
The vict’ry’s almost won.
And when again you feel His joy,
You’ll remember what I said:
I’ve never seen the righteous forsaken,
Or their seed begging for bread!

I’ve never seen the righteous forsaken,
I’ve never seen the righteous forsaken,
I’ve never seen the righteous forsaken,
Or their seed begging for bread.

Where do the brokenhearted go
To find a comfort for their pain
So many hurting need to know
The hope there is in Jesus’ name

I tried to make it on my own
I kept on drifting far away
But now I finally have a home
In Jesus love I’ll always stay

Chorus:
I have joy in the time of sorrow
I have peace in the raging storm
I have faith that Jesus holds tomorrow
I have hope, I’m resting in His arms

I’ll carry on ’til Jesus comes
Though trials and snares may come my way
And by His strength the race I’ll run
And by His grace these words I say

Chorus

He said He’d never leave me, never let me go
No matter what may come, this one thing I know

Chorus

So many things in life to tie us down
So many ways to keep us on the ground
Always another worry round the bend

Sometimes it makes you wonder
When will it ever end
Is there a way to rise above it all
And if there is, should I expect to fall
Where is there one who’ll help me touch the sky
One is so much longer
I wanna learn to fly

Chorus:
Mount up with wings fly like an eagle
Mount up with wings soar across the sky
Let your heart sing, fly away from evil
Come spread wings, fly eagle fly

Sometimes the storms of life will blow you down
Force you to wait in patience on the ground
But wait before the Lord will make you strong
You’re gonna fly again after the storm is gone

There’s a heaviness inside your heart
A weight you can’t describe
A feeling that you just can’t hide
There’s a weariness within your mind
The thoughts don’t come too clear
You feel as though I’m not so near to you

But remember I said I’d never leave
Trust in My Word and believe I am here
Forever, I’ll never let you go
This is all you really need to know

I’ve heard every prayer I’ve seen every tear
When I seemed so distant, I’ve always been near
And I know the future, and I know the past
So believe me when I say; believe me when I say
This too, this too shall pass.

I know sometimes it’s hard for you to put your trust in Me
To place your faith in what you cannot see
I know sometimes you feel that I’m a million miles away
But listen to your heart and hear me say:

I’ve heard every prayer – I’ve seen every tear
When I seemed so distant, I’ve always been near
And I know the future and I know the past
So believe me when I say; believe me when I say
This too, this too shall pass

Chorus:
It will be worth the waiting
All the anticipatin’
When we see Jesus – When we see Jesus.
It will be worth the miles
All of our many trials
When we see Jesus – When we see Jesus.

Verse:
Sometimes I get so tired
That I just want to go away,
Wish He would come and take me home today.
Being with Him would be better,
But for you I will choose to stay
A little bit longer so you might know the way.

Repeat Chorus

Bridge:
Standing in His presence there’ll be love and perfect peace,
Cloudy days will all have passed away,
Nothing to alarm us, nothing there can harm us,
Living in that never ending day.

Repeat Chorus

Repeat 1st 3 lines of Chorus:
It will be worth the waiting
All the anticipatin’
When we see Jesus – When we see Jesus.

I knew life had its valleys
Never thought that it would not be so,
But even if they’d told me
I never would’ve thought they’d be this low.
I’ve stood upon the mountain
Looked across to higher peaks and more,
But the only way to reach them
Is to journey through the lowly valley floor.

How long have I been travelin’
Days or year, sometimes I just don’t know.
How deep is this valley,
And how many more miles must I go?
My body’s growing weary
Seems my strength has all but slipped away.
Oh, God, You’ve got to help me;
Place Your healing hand on me today.

Heal me, touch me with your love
Heal me, send Your Spirit from above
(And) Hear me, help me Lord I pray,
Jesus come and make me whole today.

Oh, God, I know You’re faithful,
Leading me each step every day,
But sometimes in the valley
I just forget You’ve often passed this way.
The path is steep and narrow;
Seems this upward climb will never stop,
So, God, I hold to you,
And in strength I know I’ll make the top.

Believing in the things you cannot see
Is hard sometimes but it’s the way for me;
‘Cause things I saw began to fall
And slowly fade away;
But things the Lord has shown to me
Are in my heart to stay.

So if all I ever knew is what He told me,
If all I ever saw is what He showed me,
I’d be content to realize He knows me;
And all I’d want to do is live for Him.

Faith is made of things you cannot see,
Things that in my heart I know must be;
To put my faith in things above
Is all that I can do;
In Heaven’s hope and Jesus’ love
The things I know are true.

So if all I ever knew is what He told me,
If all I ever saw is what He showed me,
If all He wants to do is just control me;
Then all I want to do is live for Him.

He’ll dry the tears from your eyes
He’ll take the pain from your heart
He’ll move the clouds from your skies
He’ll dry the tears from your eyes

He knows the way that you feel
He’s felt the weight that you bear
He knows it’s all very real
He knows the way that you feel

Chorus:
For He is touched with the feelings of your weaknesses
He has been there too
In your despair remember all His promises
He will see you through

He’ll never leave you alone
He’ll always stay by your side
A friend like none you have known
He’ll never leave you alone

Repeat Chorus

He knew me then, He knows me now,
And He died for me.
He loved me then, and He loves me now,
Oh, how can it be?
He saw my face, He knew the place that
I would be today.
He knew me then, He knows me now,
And He loves me.

Some people say, that He died one day,
But that was long ago.
Well, I’m sure that He was a very good man,
But me He did not know.
Listen, my friend, what I say is true-
That He knew me and He knew you.
He knew you then, He knows you now,
And He loves you.

He knew you then, He knows you now
And He died for you.
He loved you then and He loves you now-
Oh, I know it’s true.
He saw your face, He knew the place
That you would be today.
He knew you then, He knows you now,
And He loves you.

He knew us then
He knows us now,
And He loves us still somehow.

Verse:
We are on a journey in a foreign land Weary pilgrims trying to find our way
We really don’t belong here, we’re just passing through
We’re all looking for a brighter day
One day we’ll see Jesus, look upon His face
And when we stand before Him on that day
We will sing His praises, shout His name on high
And with the host of Heaven we will say.

Chorus:
Through the flame, through the fire
Through the storm, through the flood
We have been lifted higher by the strength
And by the blood of the Lamb!

Verse:
Through some tribulations, through the tempter’s snares
Always with our foe on every side
We kept pressing onward to a promised land
Often as by fire we were tried
Soon it will be over, never more to roam
As our weary souls to Him we bring
Laying down our sorrow, lifting up our praise
To the Rock of Ages we will sing.

Can’t see the light at the end of the tunnel
Can’t see that far down the road
Waiting in darkness I’m tempted to stumble
Weary from bearing this load
Desperately weighing all of my options
Scheming to find my own way
But after all of my planning is over
This is the most I can say

Lord I’m waiting, Lord I’m waiting
And I’m not gonna move
Till I’m able to prove Your will
Lord I’m waiting, Lord I’m waiting
Listening for You with my heart

Lord it’s so easy to find a solution
Something that seems right to me
But plans that are born out of my own confusion
Will not help my blind eyes to see
All of the steps that You’ve laid out before me
Steps that are Yours and not mine
So I’ll be content just to wait in Your presence
Patiently biding Your time

Repeat Chorus

Lord I have need of patience
Help me to rest in You
I am detained in my weakness
There’s not a thing I can do

Repeat Chorus

There is a higher place
Than I have ever been.
There is a deeper well
Than I can comprehend.
There is a greater love
Than I have ever known.
And it’s here, yes it’s here;
Lord, it’s here before Your Throne.

There is a greater mercy
Than man could ere conceive.
There is a stronger faith
Than we would dare believe.
There is a place of rest
Where we’ll never feel alone.
And it’s here, yes it’s here;
Lord, it’s here before Your Throne.

So I bow down before You
And cry holy.
Lord, I fall at Your feet
And praise Your name.
I am bathed in the light
Of Your glory.
And it’s here, yes it’s here;
Lord, it’s here before your throne.

There are rivers of forgiveness
To cleanse the soul from sin.
There are healing waters flowing
To heal the wounds within.
There’s a light of pure redemption
To lead the wayward home.
And it’s here, yes it’s here
Lord, it’s here before Your throne.

Sometimes this life can get confusing;
Sometimes the days can seem so long.
I’m trying to win, but feel I’m losing;
I’m doing right, but feeling wrong.

I need a power that is greater;
I need a faith to keep me strong.
I need a love to give me courage;
I need a Savior who can guide me through the storm.

I need strength
To hold on to you, I need strength
To know what to do, I need strength
Just to make it through the day.
I need strength
Just to hold your hand, I need strength
Just to make a stand, I need a strength
Just to know Your plan for me.

I want You in my life completely;
All that I need you give by grace.
When life is hard You come so sweetly;
And give me strength to run the race.

I need strength
Just to feel Your grace, I need strength
Just to keep Your pace, I need strength
Just to run the race for You.
I need strength
Just to stand the test, I need strength
Just to do my best, I need strength
Just to find my rest in You.

In my weakness Your strength is made perfect in me.
When I feel I can’t go on
Your power, Your power is all I need.

Chorus

Beaten, weary, left along the way
Dry from thirst ’til word I could not say,
Then you came walking by, and looked into my eyes,
And saw my need and stopped to rescue me.

Others came and others went on by,
Refused to help or just too tired to try
Alone at last I sat, my head fell slowly back
And words from deep within me reached the sky.

“I’m hungry, please feed me.
I’m naked, please clothe me,
I’m so alone, won’t someone come to me?”
The sound of my words died,
Oh, well at least I tried and trying seemed the only thing to do.

But no sooner had I stopped and you were there,
And then I knew that God had heard my prayer,
I should have realized, and not have been surprised
His eye is on the sparrow so why not me.

Beaten, weary, left along the way
Dry from thirst ’til word I could not say,
Then you came walking by, and looked into my eyes,
And saw my need and stopped to rescue me.
Then you came walking by, and looked into my eyes,
And saw my need and stopped to rescue me.

Go ahead, Drive the nails in my hands;
Laugh at me where you stand;
Go ahead, and say it isn’t me;
The day will come when you will see!
‘Cause I’ll…

Chorus:
rise again; Ain’t no pow’r on earth
Can tie me down; Yes, I’ll rise again
Death can’t keep me in the ground!

Go ahead, and mock my name;
My love for you is still the same;
Go ahead and bury me;
But very soon I will be free!
‘Cause I’ll…

Repeat Chorus

Go ahead and say I’m dead and gone,
But you will see that you were wrong
Go ahead, try to hide the Son,
But all will see that I’m the One!
‘Cause I’ll…

Chorus

Come again; Ain’t no pow’r on earth
Can keep me back; Yes, I’ll come again
Come to take my people back.

At my worst You found me,
At my worst You died.
At my worst You loved me,
And at my worst You tried
To tell me that the best thing I could do
Would be to give my life to You.
At my worst You loved me,
And now I love You, too.

How could You love me, Jesus?
How did you know my name?
Why did you save me, Jesus?
Oh, I’ll never know how you love me so.
And I’ll never see what You saw in me.

How could You love me, Jesus?
How did You know my name?
Why did You save me, Jesus?
Oh, I’ll never know how You loved me so.

At my worst You loved me,
And at my worst You tried
To tell me that the best thing I could do
Would be to give my life to You.
At my worst You loved me,
And now I love You, too.

Didn’t He Shine

Let my light shine in the night time
Let it shine all day through,
Let it shine – shine for Jesus,
May it shine, shine on you.

I was walking along in the darkness,
I didn’t know which way to go,
Then the Lord, He turned the light on,
Changed my life, saved my soul.

So my light shine in the night time
Let it shine all day through,
Let it shine – shine for Jesus,
May it shine, shine on you.

Now I live for just one purpose,
Let the Lord shine through me,
‘Cause if His love can shine on others,
Then His Spirit will set ’em free.

Just let my light shine in the night time
Let it shine all day through,
Let it shine – shine for Jesus,
May it shine, shine on you.

Peace, Joy & Love

Jesus got ahold of my life and He won’t let me go!
Jesus got into my heart; He got into my soul!
I used to be oh so sad,
But now I’m just a free and glad,
‘Cause Jesus got ahold of my life and He won’t let go!

Sometimes I remember how I used to be livin’ in sin;
I tried to act happy and free but I wasn’t within;
I fooled a lot of friends of mine,
They tho’t I had some peace of mind,
But I never had a thing until I opened up and let Jesus in!

Jesus got ahold of my life and He won’t let me go!
Jesus got into my heart; He got into my soul!
I used to be oh so sad,
But now I’m just a free and glad,
‘Cause Jesus got ahold of my life and He won’t let go!

Aren’t you getting’ just a bit tired of foolin’ around?
You try to laugh your way thro’ life but you’re not gainin’ ground;
Why not try the Lord today,
Just ask Him in your heart to stay,
And you’ll find Jesus’ love to be the greatest thing that you’ve ever found!

Jesus got ahold of my life and He won’t let me go!
Jesus got into my heart; He got into my soul!
I used to be oh so sad,
But now I’m just a free and glad,
‘Cause Jesus got ahold of my life and He won’t let go!

Dallas Holm–Just Right

When judgment day is drawing night
Where shall I be
When God the works of man shall try
Where shall I be

Oh where shall I be
When the last trumpet sounds
Where shall I be when it sounds so loud
When it sounds so loud
That it wakes up the dead
Where shall I be when it sounds

When east and west the fire shall roam
Where shall I be
And how will it be with my poor soul
Where shall I be

Who makes the wind to blow?
Who brings the winter snow?
Who makes the grass to grow?
Who saves the human soul?

Jesus, Jesus, He makes all to be;
Jesus, Jesus, He means all to me.

Who calms the troubles sea?
Who sets the captive free;
Who makes the blind to see?
Who means the world to me?

Jesus, Jesus, He makes all to be;
Jesus, Jesus, He means all to me.

Time goes by so fast,
Things get in the way;
Memories how it used to be,
Only yesterday.
Thinking of days gone by,
Wishing it still could be.
Love hasn’t left your life at all,
Say you’re sorry and you will see.

Sorry for what you’ve done,
Sorry for what you’ve been;
Remember the way it used to be
And do it all over again.
Putting the past behind,
Never too late to start;
Jesus can heal your home my friend,
But first He must heal your heart.

Now is the time to change,
You cannot afford to wait;
Putting it off could be so wrong,
Tomorrow could be too late.
Start making up right now,
Try it and you will see.
Love hasn’t left your life at all,
Say you’re sorry and you will see.

Sorry for what you’ve done,
Sorry for what you’ve been;
Remember the way it used to be
And do it all over again.
Putting the past behind,
Never too late to start;
Jesus can heal your home my friend,
But first He must heal your heart.

Heart of mine, heart of mine,
Since you met Jesus, well you been so fine;
I’m so glad He came into this heart of mine;
I’m so glad He came into this heart in time.

I used to have such hate in my heart,
No peace of mind;
I thought my world was fallin’ apart,
But then the Lord came by just in time,

Into this heart of mine, heart of mine,
Since you met Jesus, well you been so fine;
I’m so glad He came into this heart of mine.

Hey! I’m a believer now,
Since Jesus change my min;
Hey! I’m a believer now,
Ev’rything’s gonna be fin;
Hey! I’m a believer now,
Ev’rybody’s going to see;
Yes, I’m a believer now,
Since He set me free.

Well, people think that I’m kinda strange;
Something’s out of place;
That big old frown that I used to wear,
It’s simply been erased.
A smile has moved upon my face,
It stays there all the time.
Ever since He made me His,
And I made Jesus mine!

I just came to tell you that I love you
I just came to tell you that I care
I just came to pray, to share a little smile today
I just came to say, “Thank You, Jesus.”
And when all the world’s against me
And I’m up against a wall
Lord, You come and give me power
To make me stand and not to fall
I just came to say, “Thank You, Jesus.”

He just came to tell you that He loves you
He just came to tell you that He cares
Hes with me today, and I’m gonna let Him stay
So I just came to say, “Thank You, Jesus.”

Tell ’Em Again

I think I’ll tell them how He saved me,
I think I’ll let them know.
I think I’ll tell them how His grace
To other He will show.
I think I’ll tell them what a Friend
To me this Man has been.
I think I’ll tell them about Jesus;
Then, I think I’ll tell ’em again.

Tell ’em again, tell ’em again.
I’m gonna tell everybody ’bout my Friend.
Tell ’em again, tell ’em again,
I think I’ll tell ’em over again.

I think I’ll tell them how He came
And died to make men free.
I think I’ll tell them that the price
Was paid for you and me.
I think I’ll tell them how
He turned my life around and then,
I think I’ll tell them about Jesus,
Then I think I’ll tell ’em again.

Tell ’em again, tell ’em again.
I’m gonna tell everybody ’bout my Friend.
Tell ’em again, tell ’em again,
I think I’ll tell ’em over again.

I’m gonna tell ’em about Jesus;
I’m gonna tell ’em about Jesus Christ,
I’m gonna tell ’em about Jesus;
I’m gonna tell ’em about Jesus Christ.
Tell ’em all.

Tell ’em again, tell ’em again.
I’m think I’ll tell everybody ’bout my Friend.
Tell ’em again, tell ’em again,
I think I’ll tell ’em over again.
I think I’ll tell ’em over again.

You came a little baby;
You left a dying man.
Some people say You lost it all;
I think it all was planned.
I think You knew right from the start
Just what the end would be.
And I believe that Jesus
Did it all for me.

All for you;
All for me.
I think You knew right from the start
Just what the end would be.
And I believe that Jesus
Did it all for me.

Well, you say that He died;
And what you say is so;
But don’t you see He rose again?
That’s what you’ve got to know.
He prayed and cried and went and died,
Did all that He could do.
And I believe that Jesus
Did it all for you.

All for you;
All for me.
I think You knew right from the start
Just what the end would be.
And I believe that Jesus
Did it all for me.

At my worst You found me,
At my worst You died.
At my worst You loved me,

And now I love You, too.

Tell everyone that I love them,
Tell everyone that I care.
Tell everyone I want to see them;
Tell everyone they can share
In the things I’ve prepared
No one would believe;
All I have they can share
I only they’ll receive Me.

Tell everyone that I’m coming;
Tell everyone that It’s soon.
And tell all who listen get ready;
I’ve still got plenty of room.
We will meet in the air,
Then we’ll go away
To a place I’ve prepared.
There you’ll always stay with Me.

I want you all to come;
I want you all to see.
Oh, how I’ve waited for you to come to Me.
I want you all to be happy;
I want you all to be free;
I want you all to spend all of time with Me.

Tell everyone that I love them,
Tell everyone that I care.
Tell everyone I want to see them;
Tell everyone they can share.

I want you all to come;
I want you all to see.
Oh, how I’ve waited for you to come to Me.
I want you all to come;
I want you all to see.

Here we are in your presence
Lifting holy hands to You
Here we are praising Jesus
For the things He’s brought us through.

I don’t have the words to tell You how I feel,
I just don’t know what I can say
I’m not worthy to speak Your Holy Name,
Yet You tell me You love me just the same.

Here we are in Your presence
Lifting holy hands to You
Here we are praising Jesus
For the things He’s brought us through.

I never thought that it could be this way,
And I never thought I’d be the one,
But You found me dying in my sin.
And You looked at me with love that took me in.

Here we are in Your presence
Lifting holy hands to You
Here we are praising Jesus
For the things He’s brought us through.
For the things He’s brought us through.

God, it must have broke Your heart
to send Your Son away;
Knowin’ all the time the final price
He’s have to pay.
Left His home in glory and became
a common man.
And because He did I am what I am.

For I’m a child of the King
who made ev’rything;
I’m a son of the One
who makes my heart to sing
Songs of joy, songs of praise
I’ll sing them all I can
To the One who came
and made me what I am.

Now I am a man and have a baby
Of my own;
I wonder could I send my baby off
and all alone.
To help someone, somewhere, somehow
to set some captive free.
Could I do the same for Him
who did the same for me.

Now I’m a child of the King
who made ev’rything;
I’m a son of the One
who makes my heart to sing
Songs of joy, songs of praise
I’ll sing them all I can
To the One who came
and made me what I am.

(repeat chorus)

They said I’d never make it;
They said it would not last.
They said I’d never get away
From all that’s in my past.
They said I would not last a day,
They said I’d be right back;
But here I am still with You, Lord,
And I wonder where they’re at.

Oh, You and me, Jesus,
We sure fooled ’em all.
They just thought they knew for sure
That I was gonna fall.
Well, I’m sure far from perfect,
As You can plainly see;
But after all these years, oh Lord,
It’s still You and me.

My friends they all did leave me;
They hung me out to dry.
Sometimes I’d get so lonesome, Lord,
I’d just hand my head and cry.
I guess they thought they’d show me
And I guess they had their fun;
But it really does not matter much
Because You’re still number one.

Oh, You and me, Jesus,
We sure fooled ’em all.
They just thought they knew for sure
That I was gonna fall.
Well, I’m sure far from perfect,
As You can plainly see;
But after all these years, oh Lord,
It’s still You and me.

Repeat Chorus

All I had to give I gave;
All I had to say Ive said to you.
What will you do?
All the tears I’ve cried for you
All the pain I’ve felt inside for you.
What will you do?

Chorus: Will you turn Me down today?
Will you up and walk away?
Inside your heart you’ll say it’s not for me.
So laugh at Me and turn Me away;
Say anything you want to say;
But all I’m telling you is true
And all I’ve done I’ve done for you.

All your life I’ve tried and tried
Just to find a place inside of you,
What will you do?
Think of all the things I’ve said;
Think how on the cross I bled for you.
What will you do?

Chorus

And now I guess it’s up to you.
What will you do?
What will you do?

His Last Days

Dallas Holm, His Last Days, Rise Again

Go ahead, Drive the nails in my hands;
Laugh at me where you stand;
Go ahead, and say it isn’t me;
The day will come when you will see!
‘Cause I’ll…

Chorus:
rise again; Ain’t no pow’r on earth
Can tie me down; Yes, I’ll rise again
Death can’t keep me in the ground!

Go ahead, and mock my name;
My love for you is still the same;
Go ahead and bury me;
But very soon I will be free!
‘Cause I’ll…

Repeat Chorus…

Go ahead and say I’m dead and gone,
But you will see that you were wrong
Go ahead, try to hide the Son,
But all will see that I’m the One!
‘Cause I’ll…

Chorus:

Come again; Ain’t no pow’r on earth
Can keep me back; Yes, I’ll come again
Come to take my people back.

All I had to give I gave;
All I had to say I’ve said to you.
What will you do?
All the tears I’ve cried for you
All the pain I’ve felt inside for you.
What will you do?

Chorus: Will you turn Me down today?
Will you up and walk away?
Inside your heart you’ll say it’s not for me.
So laugh at Me and turn Me away;
Say anything you want to say;
But all I’m telling you is true
And all I’ve done I’ve done for you.

All your life I’ve tried and tried
Just to find a place inside of you,
What will you do?
Think of all the things I’ve said;
Think how on the cross I bled for you.
What will you do?

Chorus

And now I guess it’s up to you.
What will you do?
What will you do?

Hosanna, hosanna, hosanna to the King!
Praises, praises, praises now we sing!
Glory to the King of kings!
Glory to the Lord of lords!
Let our hearts and voices sing fovermore!

Hosanna, hosanna, hosanna to the King!
Praises, praises, praises now we sing!
Hope of all the ages now,
Here we humbly bow before;
Singing praises to They name forevermore!

Hosanna, hosanna, hosanna to the King!
Praises, praises, praises now we sing!
Hosanna, hosanna, hosanna to the King!
Praises, praises, praises now we sing!

Do you believe in Me, And in the words I say,
And in Him who sent Me from above?
Do you believe in My love?

I’ve tried so many ways to show you My love,
And show you who I am;
Sometimes I wonder if you’ve ever learned,
Or if you understand.

Do you believe in Me, And in the words I say,
And in Him who sent Me from above?
Do you believe in My love?

This is My body that is broken for you,
Never forget what I’ve done;
This is what makes us one.

Do you believe in Me, And in the words I say,
And in Him who sent Me from above?
Do you believe in My love?

Father, Father,
Is there no other way?
Father, Father,
I know not what to pray.
I’ve always sought to do Thy will;
And that is My desire still.
But why do I feel so alone?
Such sorry I have never known!

Father, Father,
Is there no other way?
Father, Father,
I know not what to pray.
Is there a way that You can see
To let this cup pass from me?
But even while I spoke those words,
Deep in My heart Your voice I heard.

Father, Father,
There is no other way!
Father, Father,
I’ll do your will today.

I said that I would die for Him,
I really thought I could
But there I was denying Him
I never thought I would!
I failed the Lord, I let him down,
After all He’s done for me;
And now He’s walking up a hill,
A hill called Calvary.

Calvary, Calvary, was it meant for Him?
Was it meant for me?
Calvary, Calvary;
Is that my cross He’s taking to Calvary?

He found me in my sin and told me,
“Go and sin no more,”
And ever since that day I’m not
The way I was before;
I only came to thank Him for
The life He gave to me;
But there He’s going up a hill,
A hill called Calvary.

Calvary, Calvary, was it meant for Him?
Was it meant for me?
Calvary, Calvary;
Is that my cross He’s taking to Calvary?

Calvary, Calvary, was it meant for Him?
Was it meant for me?
Calvary, Calvary;
Is that my cross He’s taking to Calvary?

Is this the Boy I raised?
Is this the Son I knew?
Is this the One I’ve loved?
Why can’t they love Him too?

What has my Son ever done to you?
Has He caused you some pain?
As I recall all He’s shown is love!
Why can’t you show Him the same?

This is the Boy I raised;
This is the Son I knew;
This is the One I’ve loved;
Why can’t they love Him, too?

Oh, what can I do, my Son?
Why can’t they see what I know?
Is this the way it must be?
Is this the way You must go?
I’d gladly die in your place,
If I could save You some pain;
But I can see in Your face,
My death would not be the same!

You are the Boy I raised;
You are the Son I knew;
You are the One I’ve loved;
Why can’t they love you too?

I’m the one who spat upon the Savior,
I’m the one who mocked His holy name,
I’m the one who said with all the rest, “Crucify Him!”
I’m the one, I’m the one to blame!

I’m the one who made Him go to Calvary;
Im the one who nailed Him to the tree!
Even though I am the one who brought all this on Him,
He’s the One Who tells me He forgives me!

What kind of Man is this?
Why does he care for me?
Look what I’ve done to Him!
I guess He doesn’t see
That I’m the one to blame,
I caused Him all this shame!
What kind of Man is this?
What kind of Man is this?

What kind of Man is this?
Why does he care for me?
Look what I’ve done to Him!
I guess He doesn’t see
That I’m the one to blame,
I caused Him all this shame!
What kind of Man is this?
What kind of Man is this?

Truly this was the Son of God!
I should have been the one to die!
What greater love has anyone that this,
That he would give himself for such as I!

All That Matters

So you got your heart broke in two,
And you hurt so bad you don’t know what to do;
And you think that you’re the only one who’s ever felt this way,
But there was sure another One another day.

And He died of a broken heart,
It broke for you and me.
He loved us more than words can say,
And more than we could see;
His death was not from pain He felt while hanging on that tree;
No, He died of a broken heart for you and me.

And it seems you’ve come to the end,
And you’re standing all alone without a friend;
And you’re just so sure that no one’s ever hurt this bad before,
But there was One who hurt this bad and even more!

And He died of a broken heart,
It broke for you and me.
He loved us more than words can say,
And more than we could see;
His death was not from pain He felt while hanging on that tree;
No, He died of a broken heart
Oh, He died of a broken heart,
Yes, He died because He loves you and me!

So you got your heart broke in two,
And you hurt so bad you don’t know what to do;
And you think that you’re the only one who’s ever felt this way,
But there was sure another One another day.

O, I know you may get weary,
And the times they may get rough.
You may not have all you want,
But you’ll always have enough.
And when your darkest hour comes,
Just remember what I say:
I’ve never seen the righteous forsaken,
Or their seed begging for bread!

O, I know it seems so hopeless,
And you don’t know what to pray.
You’ve done all you know to do,

And it seems there’s just no way.
And when you feel you’re at the end,
Just remember what I say:
I’ve never seen the righteous forsaken,
Or their seed begging for bread!

I’ve never seen God’s people
With a need that He could not meet!
I know that He cares for His own,
And His promises He’ll keep.

So just hold on a little longer
The answer’s soon to come.
The endless waiting’s almost over,
The vict’ry’s almost won.
And when again you feel His joy,
You’ll remember what I said:
I’ve never seen the righteous forsaken,
Or their seed begging for bread!

I’ve never seen the righteous forsaken,
I’ve never seen the righteous forsaken,
I’ve never seen the righteous forsaken,
Or their seed begging for bread.

I was slowly dying through the years,
Thinking I was living all the time.
Must have cried a river full of tears,
Did not think that river could be mine.
Then one day while standing on the bank,
I slipped and fell and took a tumble down;
While looking for some help I slowly sank,
Seemed to me no rescue could be found.

I was drowning in a river
That flowed from my own tears;
I was running from a danger
Made of my own fears.
I was falling in a deep dark hole
That I had dug myself;
That’s when Jesus found me!

And He said, “Come, give me your hand
And I’ll lift you out of the sinking sand
And I’ll set your feet upon the Rock to stay;
Come, give me your heart
And I’ll help you find a brand new start
And you’ll see that serving Me’s the only way.”

And He said, “Come, give me your hand
And I’ll lift you out of the sinking sand
And I’ll set your feet upon the Rock to stay;
Come, give me your heart
And I’ll help you find a brand new start
And you’ll see that serving Me’s the only way.”

I got love, love, love in my heart,
I got peace like a river, never will part;
I got joy on my mind, a smile on my face;
Where I used to have hate I got love in its place!

Spent some time livin’ in sin;
Heartache and sorrow and no peace within;
But then I met Jesus, He changed my whole life;
He took all the wrong and made everything right
And gave me-

Love, love, love in my heart,
I got peace like a river, never will part;
I got joy on my mind, a smile on my face;
Where I used to have hate I got love in its place!

I’m not the man that I used to be;
I’m diff’rent, I ‘m happy as happy can be;
I just can’t explain the way that I feel-
All I can say is that I know it is real,
Real-

Love, love, love in my heart,
I got peace like a river, never will part;
I got joy on my mind, a smile on my face;
Where I used to have hate I got love in its place!

Ever since the day You came into my life I been changed!
Ev’rything’s diff’rent,
My whole life has been rearranged!

I got love, love, love in my heart,
I got peace like a river, never will part;
I got joy on my mind, a smile on my face;
Where I used to have hate I got love in its place,
I got love, love, love in my heart!

I showed you my heart, I sang you my song
You heard my guitar play;
In a minute or so I may be gone,
So there’s just one more thing I should say:

All that matters in this life below
Is not what you are or how much you know;
All the world’s knowledge can make the mind smart,
But the diff’rence is made in the heart.

I sing songs of joy, I sing songs of pain,
Songs that will move the soul;
But if I should never sing them again,
Here’s something you’ve got to know;

All that matters in this life below
Is not what you are or how much you know;
All the world’s knowledge can make the mind smart,
But the diff’rence is made in the heart.
But the diff’rence is made in the heart.

Believing in the things you cannot see
Is hard sometimes but it’s the way for me;
‘Cause things I saw began to fall
And slowly fade away;
But things the Lord has shown to me
Are in my heart to stay.

So if all I ever knew is what He told me,
If all I ever saw is what He showed me,
I’d be content to realize He knows me;
And all I’d want to do is live for Him.

Faith is made of things you cannot see,
Things that in my heart I know must be;
To put my faith in things above
Is all that I can do;
In Heaven’s hope and Jesus’ love
The things I know are true.

So if all I ever knew is what He told me,
If all I ever saw is what He showed me,
If all He wants to do is just control me;
Then all I want to do is live for Him.

Looking Back: The Very Best of Dallas Holm

Let my light shine in the night time
Let it shine all day through,
Let it shine – shine for Jesus,
May it shine, shine on you.

I was walking along in the darkness,
I didn’t know which way to go,
Then the Lord, He turned the light on,
Changed my life, saved my soul.

So my light shine in the night time
Let it shine all day through,
Let it shine – shine for Jesus,
May it shine, shine on you.

Now I live for just one purpose,
Let the Lord shine through me,
‘Cause if His love can shine on others,
Then His Spirit will set ’em free.

Just let my light shine in the night time
Let it shine all day through,
Let it shine – shine for Jesus,
May it shine, shine on you.

Jesus got ahold of my life and He won’t let me go!
Jesus got into my heart; He got into my soul!
I used to be oh so sad,
But now I’m just a free and glad,
‘Cause Jesus got ahold of my life and He won’t let go!

Sometimes I remember how I used to be livin’ in sin;
I tried to act happy and free but I wasn’t within;
I fooled a lot of friends of mine,
They tho’t I had some peace of mind,
But I never had a thing until I opened up and let Jesus in!

You try to laugh your way thro’ life but you’re not gainin’ ground;

Who makes the wind to blow?
Who brings the winter snow?
Who makes the grass to grow?
Who saves the human soul?

Jesus, Jesus, He makes all to be;
Jesus, Jesus, He means all to me.

Who calms the troubles sea?
Who sets the captive free;
Who makes the blind to see?
Who means the world to me?

Jesus, Jesus, He makes all to be;
Jesus, Jesus, He means all to me.

Time goes by so fast,
Things get in the way;
Memories how it used to be,
Only yesterday.
Thinking of days gone by,
Wishing it still could be.
Love hasn’t left your life at all,
Say you’re sorry and you will see.

Sorry for what you’ve done,
Sorry for what you’ve been;
Remember the way it used to be
And do it all over again.
Putting the past behind,
Never too late to start;
Jesus can heal your home my friend,
But first He must heal your heart.

Now is the time to change,
You cannot afford to wait;
Putting it off could be so wrong,
Tomorrow could be too late.
Start making up right now,
Try it and you will see.
Love hasn’t left your life at all,
Say you’re sorry and you will see.

Sorry for what you’ve done,
Sorry for what you’ve been;
Remember the way it used to be
And do it all over again.
Putting the past behind,
Never too late to start;
Jesus can heal your home my friend,
But first He must heal your heart.

Heart of mine, heart of mine,
Since you met Jesus, well you been so fine;
I’m so glad He came into this heart of mine;
I’m so glad He came into this heart in time.

I used to have such hate in my heart,
No peace of mind;
I thought my world was fallin’ apart,
But then the Lord came by just in time,

Into this heart of mine, heart of mine,
Since you met Jesus, well you been so fine;
I’m so glad He came into this heart of mine.

This Is My Song

‘Cause Jesus got ahold of my life and He won’t let go!

Why don’t you laugh, and why don’t you smile?
Why don’t you just praise the Lord for a while,
‘Cause you’re saved, saved, saved
And you ought to feel good.
Well, you were so wrong before,
But now you fina’lly did the best thing you could.

Well, don’t you worry, and don’t be distressed;
Trust in Jesus and just do your best,
And you’re saved, saved, saved;
All you gotta do is try, try, try.
And if you’re saved in this life,
You’ll be saved in the sweet bye and bye.

We don’t deserve the love that He shares;
We don’t deserve the way that He cares.
I guess it’s just that He loves us so,
And He wants everyone to know.
We shouldn’t worry and we shouldn’t fret
Because our God has never failed us yet,
‘Cause we’re saved, saved, saved;
It’s the only way to be.
Well, now I tried the other,
But Jesus is the way for me!

We don’t deserve the love that He shares;
We don’t deserve the way that He cares.
I guess it’s just that He loves us so,
And He wants everyone to know.
We shouldn’t worry and we shouldn’t fret
Because our God has never failed us yet,
‘Cause we’re saved, saved, saved;
It’s the only way to be.
Well, now I tried the other,
But Jesus is the way for me.
Well, now I tried the other,
And Jesus is the way for me!

Well, they rode into town in the dark, by the light of the moon;
Mary felt her Baby and she knew that it was coming soon;
All they needed was a small room where she could lay her head;
All they wanted for Jesus was a bed.
Well, they stopped at the Holiday Inn, there was a convention;
They said, “Sorry, ain’t got no room without a reservation.
But I’m sure if I call ahead, well, I can find you a bed.
But you might have to wait ’til morning instead.”

Well, if they’d known Baby Jesus was King,
And if they’d known He created ev’rything,
I feel sure they’d given Him the executive suite;
But as it was, they just got sent on down the street.

Well, they walked a bit further ’til they came to another inn;
And the man said, “Sorry, we’re full, but ya’ll come back again.”
Well, now Joe said it could not wait ’cause it was getting late;
He said, “My wife’s going to have a Baby today.”
Well, the man said, “All I’ve got to offer is a little old shack.
And you can find it if you look real hear; it’s out around back.
Well, chase those cattle out, and move some things about.
I’ll see you in the morning, and don’t forget to check out!”

Well, if he’d known Baby Jesus was King,
And if he’d knows He created ev’rything,
I feel sure He’d found them a better place to stay;
But as it was, Baby Jesus got born there in the hay.

Well, now I know that my Jesus is King,
And I know He created ev’rything;
That’s why I’ve given Him the best room from the start,
And that’s why Jesus makes His home inside of my heart.

Holm, Sheppard & Johnson

Well, I’m still livin’, livin’ for the Lord
Still singin’, singin’ ’bout His word.

Sure, I’ve been through the fire,
Tested and tried for sure
It brought a greater desire
Gave me the strength to endure.

I couldn’t find an answer
Seemed to be no way out,
Flames getting higher and higher
He fin’lly brought me out.

Well, I’m still livin’, livin’ for the Lord
Still singin’, singin’ ’bout His word.

Now I can see it more clearly,
He never let me down
There in the fire with me
Turnin’ my life around

Well, I’m still livin’, livin’ for the Lord
Still singin’, singin’ ’bout His word.

Well, I’m still livin’, livin’ for the Lord
Still singin’, singin’ ’bout His word.

Sure, I have failed, and so have you,
And now we reason; what shall we do?
Sure, I have cried, well that’s nothing new;
We’ve both shed teardrops, quite a few.

Sure I’ve been hurt; we both have known pain;
Even though diff’rent, we’re really the same.
Sure I’ve been down, we’ve all felt that way,
So where is the answer? What can I say?

Let’s go to Jesus and show Him our hearts,
Show Him our pain, and show Him our scars.
Let’s go to Jesus; together we’ll meet
And lay all our burdens at Jesus’ feet.

Sure we’ve been hurt, but so has He.
How He was wounded at Calvary;
Despised and rejected by you and by me.
But look on His face now; what do you see?

Love in His eyes, and scars in His hands;
All that He suffered; part of His plan.
Freely He’ll give all that we need.
Praise Him forever; bow at His feet.

Let’s go to Jesus and show Him our hearts,
Show Him our pain, and show Him our scars.
Let’s go to Jesus; together we’ll meet
And lay all our burdens at Jesus’ feet.

Drawin’ from the well,
Drawin’ from the well,
Drawin’ from the well,
That will never run dry;

Drinkin’ Living Water
Provided by my Father,
Drawin’ from the well
That will never fun dry.

There’s a well where I’m livin’
Eternal life it’s givin’
It washes all the pain and care away.
I’m standin’ in the flow
It’s runnin’ right through my soul,
And the source will last forever and a day,

And I’m drawin’ from the well,
Drawin’ from the well,
Drawin’ from the well
That will never run dry.

Drinkin’ Living Water
Provided by my Father,
Drawin’ from the well
That will never run dry.

Oh! It fills my life
With assurance that I’ll
Never thirst again
And Oh, my days and nights
Are full of the joy
That comes from knowing Him,
And I’m dry.

Drawin’ from the well
That will never fun dry,
Drawin’ from the well
That will never fun dry.

I was weak and You were strong,
You were right and I was wrong,
How is it that we ever got together?
I was here and You were there,
You came looking ev’rywhere
‘Til You found me, now I am Yours forever.

Is this a dream? Can this be true?
I was alone, and now I’m with You.
I guess what I feel is Love Divine,
‘Cause I am Yours, and Jesus, You are mine!

I was lonely for so long,
‘Til the day You came along.
You gave me hope; my life is worth the living.
Hope that I had never known,
Love, that since that day has grown patient and kind;
All of my sins forgiven.

Is this a dream? Can this be true?
I was alone, and now Im with You.
I guess what I feel is Love Divine,
‘Cause I am Yours, and Jesus, You are mine!

I guess what I feel is Love Divine
‘Cause I am Yours, and Jesus, You are mine!

I Saw The Lord

Chorus:
It will be worth the waiting
All the anticipatin’
When we see Jesus – When we see Jesus.
It will be worth the miles
All of our many trials
When we see Jesus – When we see Jesus.

Verse:
Sometimes I get so tired
That I just want to go away,
Wish He would come and take me home today.
Being with Him would be better,
But for you I will choose to stay
A little bit longer so you might know the way.

Repeat Chorus

Bridge:
Standing in His presence there’ll be love and perfect peace,
Cloudy days will all have passed away,
Nothing to alarm us, nothing there can harm us,
Living in that never ending day.

I’ve been sailing the seas for most of all these years,
Riding the crest of a wave made of tears.
I’ve been drifting on a troubled sea
Traveling aimlessly
‘Til I put my anchor down in Peaceful Harbor.

Well, the winds of despair were blowing on my face
‘Til the day I felt the gentle breeze of amazing grace.
So I charted a brand new course
Let the Saviour be my guiding force
Then I put my anchor down in Peaceful Harbor.

Now I’ve emptied all my cargo on the docks of Heaven’s gate
The troubled seas I’m traveling no more.
My sailing life is over
My legs have felt the land.
I’m standing now upon the other shore.

Well, I’m watching the sunset down on a peaceful sea
Never in all my life have I felt so free.
I’m standing on the shore
I’m sailing out no more
Since I put my anchor down in Peaceful Harbor.

By Dallas Holm

Chorus:
Hey child, listen to me
Didn’t anybody tell you, you could be free?
Hey child, I’m calling your name
You don’t have to be the same.

Verse:
You’re gettin’ tired of runnin’ around
Always gettin’ lost and never gettin’ found
It doesn’t have to be that way
If you come to Jesus today.

Repeat Chorus

Verse:
I know you maybe don’t believe what I say
But what I’m tellin’ you is true anyway
My Jesus only wants to be your friend
And give you freedom that will never end.

Verse:
How can I be so wrong
When I’m trying to be so right
Why is it taking so long
To win this fight.
The struggle goes on each day
Fighting inside my mind
Victory sometimes seems
Hard to find.

Chorus:
Oh, wretched man am I
Who can save me from this subtle death
Thank You, Lord, You have heard my prayer
And I’ll praise You now until my final breath

Verse:
Please give me strength today
To help me stand on my feet.
I’m tired of falling down
In defeat
Help me be more like You
You are my closest friend
Stay with me all the time
‘Til the end.

Verse 1:
This coat I have around me’s not the finest,
But it keeps me from the wind.
I look into my pocket, there’s no silver,
But I’ve got some golden friends;
But I now have a promise that one day
Things are bound to change,
When I walk across that river
To a home in a land where Jesus reigns.

Verse 2:
The things we hold so precious now
Will suddenly one day fade away.
When we look into the sky,
And hear the calling on that resurrection day.
When the least shall have the most
And those with the most shall find that they then have the least,
When He calls us to be seated at His table
For that royal wedding feast.

Chorus:
I’m an heir to someone who will give me everything.
I’ve been born in the Bloodline of a King.

Verse 3:
Well, some people up there
Think they got a lot,
They’re gonna look up one day
And find they’re empty handed.
For the things they love the most
Are not the things my Father has demanded,
And as His chosen children we’re gonna look up
And find we have a song to sing

Chorus:
We’ve been born in the Bloodline of a King!
We’ve been born in the Bloodline of a King!

Hearts that never mend,
The tears that never end,
And words that go unspoken every day,
Love we should have shown,
Dreams they could have known;
If only we would have told
Them along the way.

And who are we to say we really love Him,
When all we seem to do is throw His love away?
Will we smile when we stand before Him
And laugh all the hours away,
Or cry for the friends we left behind along the way?

The race is never run,
The battle’s never won,
And time just keeps on turnin’, burnin’ away.
Bless me, Lord, I pray,
Fill my cup, we say,
While a million souls are dyin’ along the way.

And who are we to say we really love Him,
When all we seem to do is throw His love away?
Will we smile when we stand before Him
And laugh all the hours away,
Or cry for the friends we left behind along the way?

By Bob Dylan

They ask me how I feel
And if my love is real,
And how I know I’ll make it through.
They look at me and frown,
They’d like to drive me from this town
‘Cause they don’t want me around
‘Cause I believe in You.

They show me to the door
They say don’t come back no more,
‘Cause I don’t be like they like me to
And I walk out on my own
A thousand miles from home,
And I don’t feel alone
‘Cause I believe in You.

I believe in You even through
The tears and the laughter.
I believe in You even though
We be apart.
I believe in You even on
The morning after
When the dawn is nearing
When the night’s disappearing,
This feeling’s still here in my heart.

Don’t let me drift too far
Keep me where You are.
Where I will always be renewed
And that which You’ve given me today
Is worth more than I can pay,
And no matter what they say
I believe in you.

I believe in You when wintertime turns to summer
I believe in You when white turns to black.
I believe in you even through I be outnumbered,
Thought the earth may shake me
Though my friends forsake me,
Even that can’t make me go back.

Don’t let me change my heart
Keep me set apart
From all the plans they do pursue.
And I don’t mind the pain
I don’t mind the driving rain
I know I will sustain
‘Cause I believe in You.

By Phil Johnson

The eyes of God are upon me,
He sees everything I do.
The arms of God are around me,
They keep me safe and secure.

And He knows where I am
Every hour of every day
He knows each thought I think
He knows each word that I might say.
And although there’ve been times
I’ve been out of His will
I’ve never been out of His care.

This changing world alarms me,
With war, with sin, with strife.
But my loving Father charms me,
With joy, with peace, and with life.

And He knows where I am
Every hour of every day
He knows each though I think
He knows each word that I might say.
And although there’ve been times
I’ve been out of His will
I’ve never been out of His care.
I’ve never been out of His care.

Lord, You’ve made me happy
And, Lord, You’ve been so good.
Oh, you turned my life around
When I didn’t think You could;
And now I love this life of mine,
I love each passing day,
But with every breath I take
Inside my heart I say

Come, sweet Jesus; take me from this place,
I really don’t belong here now
I wanna see your face.
Come, sweet Jesus; come take me away,
I really wanna see you Lord.
Jesus come today.

Lord, we are Your people
Preparing now to be
Your bride, pure and holy
For all the world to see.
Come in clouds of angels
Take us all away
To the place that you’ve prepared-
Never ending day.

Chorus:
It’s a losing game
Life without the Lord is just a losing game
And, it’s a crying shame
‘Cause when you lose you’ve only got yourself to blame
He’s tried to tell you so many times
You turn your back and just close your mind
And play the losing game
Don’t be such a fool and play the losing game

If you’re gambling your life away
Moment by moment, day by day
You’re taking chances that are never gonna pay
You’re the only one to blame
You really oughta be ashamed
‘Cause no one ever wins at a losing game

Chorus

Games are made to win or lose
Will you play, that’s yours to choose
But no one ever wins at a losing game

Chorus

I’ll be a fool for You, Jesus, that’s just what I’ll be.

People tell me that I’m a fool for giving my life away,
But I’ve learned not to think too highly of what the people say.
‘Cause you have given more to me than I ever gave to you,
So if it’s all the same to them I think I’ll be a fool.

I’ll be a fool for You, Jesus, that’s just what I’ll be.
Crazy in love with God above, that’s all right with me.
I’ll be a fool for You, Jesus, that’s just what I’ll do
I guess I just don’t know no better than to be in love with You.

When I gave my life to You, my friends they were hard to find,
They seemed to all kinda stay away; They thought I’d lost my mind.
How could you give your life away like some kind of crazy fool?
They would ask and I would say: Here’s what I’m gonna do.

I’ll be a fool for You, Jesus, that’s just what I’ll be.
Crazy in love with God above, that’s all right with me.
I’ll be a fool for You, Jesus, that’s just what I’ll do
I guess I just don’t know no better than to be in love with You.

Well, my Jesus is a river of love
And He flows from Heaven above
He’ll take every sin you have
And He’ll wash it away
You just jump in the water today
You won’t drown if you learn to pray
Well, my Jesus is a river of love
And He’s flowing your way

There’s a river flowing
Out from Heaven’s sea
There’s a river reachin’
Out for you and me
Streams of living water
Clear as they can be
So come on in, the water’s fine
And it will set you free

If you need a cleansing
Children don’t delay
There’s a mighty river
Flowin’ here today
It can wash and make you
Clean as you can be
So come on in the water’s fine
And it will set you free

I went sailing out to sea
Nothing seemed to bothering me.
Set my course into the sun,
Thought that I’d just have some fun.
Seas were still, winds were calm,
Surely nothing could go wrong.
Thought I had my riggings tight
Figured I’d just sail all night.

Then the sun went down,
Darkness filled the sky,
The stars refused to shine,
I just wondered why.
The boat begin to sway,
The winds and waves they soared;
I knew I’d lost my way
Next thing I was overboard.
And You rescued me, You rescued me.
You looked down and heard my plea
And picked me out of the raging sea
You rescued me.

Sailing now so peacefully,
Since you came and rescued me,
NO more fear of rolling waves,
Now I know that He is near.
When I sail across the sea,
Jesus, Saviour, pilot me.
And you rescued me, You rescued me.
You looked down and heard my plea,
And picked me out of the raging sea.
You rescued me, You rescued me.

By Rick Crawford

Chorus:
Only one Lord, only one love,
Only one life to live for You.
Only one plea, only one prayer,
Only one pleasure; pleasing You.

Looking back throughout my days
Seems like things get in the way
Of doing that which pleases you,
And that’s not pleasing me.

Repeat Chorus

Jesus make me like you are
Change my heart and heal my scars,
Make me faithful, make me true
Make me Lord like you.

Chorus:
I’m running the race, I’m running the race to win
I’m running the race, I’m running the race to win
Sometimes I felt like giving up and falling down within
But I’m still running the race, I’m running the race to win

Verse:
I started walking before I could run
I slowly moved from place to place
But I got stronger day after day
And now I’m running in the race

It’s almost over, the end is in sight
I’ll cross the finish line by grace
It’s gone so quickly, and still it seems

Here comes the rain, just a steady pour,
And all my happiness just walked out the door,
And I don’t think I’ll ever smile again;
I don’t see how, I don’t know when.
My heart is broke, I’ve never felt such pain,
And I don’t think I’ll ever be the same.
Well, they tell me Lord You know just how I feel.
Well, is it true and is it real?

Touch me with love
Please take my hand,
I’m too hurt to cry;
Too weak to stand.
I only want strength just for today
Tomorrow may never come anyway.

What’s that I see, the sun’s comin’ through
The clouds are all gone, the sky is still blue,
And I never thought I’d ever see the day
Well, what do ya know and what can I say?
You touched me with love,
You held to my hand,
You stood by my side,
You helped me to stand.
You joy has replaced the sorrow I knew
And all of my happiness is in You.

Touch me with love
Please take my hand,
I’m too hurt to cry;
Too weak to stand.
I only want strength just for today
Tomorrow may never come anyway.

He loved me when nobody cared,
His mercy with me He shared.
He gave me all He could give,
Yes, He dies so I might live.

And you ask me how much I love Him,
Well, it’s more than words can say.
I love Him with each passing moment.
I love Him more each day.

Hittin’ the road one more time,
Leaving the wife and the kids behind.
Sure never do this for nobody but You.

String my guitar; pack up my clothes.
Get on the bus and then get on the road.
I’d never walk out the door if it wasn’t for You.

But You left heaven for me.
Hit the roads and the shores of Galilee.
Gave Yourself at Calvary;
So I’ve gotta go and tell them what You’ve done for me.

Burgers and fries; motel rooms;
Short nights and long afternoons.
Sure never do this for nobody but You.

Load in at four; focus the lights;
Get ready for one more night.
I’d never walk on the stage if it wasn’t for You.

But You left heaven for me.
Hit the roads and the shores of Galilee.
Gave Yourself at Calvary;
So I’ve gotta go and tell them what You’ve done for me.

Repeat Chorus

So I’ve gotta go and tell them what You’ve done for me.

At my worst You died.
At my worst You loved me,

To tell me that the best thing I could do
Would be to give my life to You.

How could You love me, Jesus?
How did you know my name?
Why did you save me, Jesus?

Here we are in your presence
Lifting holy hands to You
Here we are praising Jesus
For the things He’s brought us through.

I don’t have the words to tell You how I feel,
I just don’t know what I can say
I’m not worthy to speak Your Holy Name,
Yet You tell me You love me just the same.

Lifting holy hands to You
Here we are praising Jesus
For the things He’s brought us through.

I never thought that it could be this way,
And I never thought I’d be the one,
But You found me dying in my sin.
And You looked at me with love that took me in.

Here we are in Your presence
Lifting holy hands to You
Here we are praising Jesus
For the things He’s brought us through.

So you got your heart broke in two,
And you hurt so bad you don’t know what to do;
And you think that you’re the only one who’s ever felt this way,
But there was sure another One another day.

And He died of a broken heart,
It broke for you and me.
He loved us more than words can say,
And more than we could see;
His death was not from pain He felt while hanging on that tree;
No, He died of a broken heart for you and me.

And it seems you’ve come to the end,
And you’re standing all alone without a friend;
And you’re just so sure that no one’s ever hurt this bad before,

Change The World

By Dallas Holm

Most will never see their faces
Never know their names
What they do they do alone,
They dont need no fame.
On their knees they touch the Lord,
Knowing He will care
And change the things that man can’t change
With a simple prayer.

They are prayer warriors fighting on their knees
True soldiers in the Lord’s army.
Front liners ready every hour
Doing battle constantly with supernatural power.

In the solitude of prayer
Victories are won,
With the help of Heaven’s power
They will overcome.
As one chorus fighting now
Warriors press on,
Bringing strongholds to the ground
With a prayerful song.

Hungry babies dying every day
Doesn’t seem much help is on the way
And I… I just don’t feel like dancin’.
There’s a war each time you turn around
Seems like peace will never quite be found.
And I… I just don’t feel like dancin’.

Sure I’ve got Your joy in my soul
And I’m glad that Your love has made me whole.
I guess I’m as happy as I can expect to be.
I just don’t feel like dancin’.

There’s a young man tired of his life.
Thinking maybe he’ll just leave tonight
And I… I just don’t feel like dancin’.
Little children missing by the score.
I don’t think that I can take no more.
And I… I just don’t feel like dancin’.
There’s a young girl dying in her heart.
Stopped a life that she had helped to start.
And I… I just don’t feel like dancin’.

Put on the helmet of salvation
Put on the breastplate of righteousness
Clothe your whole being in holy armour
Worthy to stand the test.

We’re in the battle of the ages
In the Lord’s army there’s no retreat,
Fighting against the powers of darkness
For us there is no defeat.

It’s war we’re fighting
It’s war we’re going to win
It’s war we’re fighting
And we’re fighting this war to win.

Flesh and blood is not what we’re fighting
We fight against what we cannot see
The prince of power of the air
Accuser of you and me.

Truth has defeated the deceiver
Hell has no power to wound the Son
So why do we fight like we’re losing the battle
When the victory’s already won?

Don’t say that you love Him then live like you don’t.
You think they’ll believe you – I tell you they won’t.
Don’t think that this world is made up of fools.
They’re watching your life. Do you live by the rules?

Don’t say that He’s very important to you,
When everything else dominates what you do.
They’ll never believe you unless they can see
Your words and your life together agree.

So just live what you say
Show them that Jesus is truly the way.
Just live what you say
‘Cause someone is watching your life today.

So be an example in all that you do
Show them that Jesus is living in you.
Speak of His power and love every day,
Then live like you mean it, and show them the way.

So just live what you say
Show them that Jesus is truly the way.
Just live what you say
‘Cause someone is watching your life today.

While I’m standing here, singing you this song,
People are crying, people are dying.
So why don’t we weep, how can we not cry,
Have we been trying or have we been lying?

We say that we love our neighbor but don’t even know their name
Do our lives describe His heart or are our lives in vain?

God, give me a burden
God, give me a word and send me off
To help the hurt and crying
Wounded, hungry, lost and dying ones.

Lord, we have so much, more than we deserve
People are crying
People are dying
So why don’t we care, how can we not share
Out of our treasure, wealth beyond measure.

We can change the world through pow’r in Jesus name.
Change the world, change the world,
We can change the world through pow’r in Jesus name.

Verse:
Don’t be shy, don’t be afraid,
Worry not what others say,
Though the world may think you strange,
Righteousness will have its day.

Truth will bring us liberty,
Lies will only bring us death.
Just speak the truth of God in pow’r
For as long as He gives breath.

Put yourself aside, give your life away,
Crucify your pride, let the words you say
Speak His name to all, ev’ry soul in need,
You must heed the call till the bound are free.

A few more thousand died today;
They didn’t know Your name.
Whose fault is it anyway-
Who assumes the blame?
Is it those who know you well,
But are afraid to speak,
Claiming to be strong in you,
But in the end are weak.

Oh, we spend our lives so foolishly
Seeking after things that will not last,
When on ahead, lies all eternity
And soon this breath of life will all be past.

How can we be so unmoved
By how the world is.
Do we still belong to Him?
Are our lives still His?
If He owns the universe
And still owns you and me
Why the need to have so much
And live so selfishly.

By Dallas Holm

The war rages every day, the battle never ceases.
Innocent people caught in the way, their lives are torn to pieces.
The rules of war say we must care, we must help our neighbor;
And like the one who loves us all, we can show no favor.

We’ve got to care for the wounded,
We’ve got to care for the wounded,
Wounded warriors fall each day in the battle zone
We can’t simply walk away we must help our own.
We’ve got to care for the wounded
We’ve got to care for the wounded.

Easy living is no more, time is of the essence.
No such thing as easy way, fighting’s never pleasant.
Battle scars have always been since the fighting started,
We must fight with tender hearts, hence the broken hearted.

By Dallas Holm

I was looking for some kind of magic,
The state my life was in was so tragic,
I was tired of living – what could I do?

I was looking in all kinds of places,
Trying to find it in so many faces,
But I never found it ’til I found You.

Then I was mystified
I was purified
And I’ve been justified since I met You.
Now I want to testify
That I’ve been satisfied
Since You’ve been glorified inside of me.

I was just on the edge of disaster
I was trying so hard to master
All the tricks of the trade
To just make it through.
I was needing some super power
Looking for some magical hour
And I finally found it when I found You.

By Dallas Holm

When the battle’s over, when the fighting’s done,
We’ll lay down our armour, victories all won.
We shall stand together, the army of the King.
This our song forever to Thee, Oh Lord, we’ll sing.

We have overcome; We have overcome
The world, the enemy; We have overcome.

Then before Your glory in that Holy Place,
Humbly bowed before You, dare we view Your face?
There in countless numbers gathered ’round Your throne,
We shall sing forever in our eternal home!

We have overcome; We have overcome
The world, the enemy; We have overcome.

Praise And Worship

Who makes the wind to blow?
Who brings the winter snow?
Who makes the grass to grow?
Who saves the human soul?

Jesus, Jesus, He makes all to be;
Jesus, Jesus, He means all to me.

Who calms the troubles sea?
Who sets the captive free;
Who makes the blind to see?
Who means the world to me?

Jesus, Jesus, He makes all to be;
Jesus, Jesus, He means all to me.

You came a little baby;
You left a dying man.
Some people say You lost it all;
I think it all was planned.
I think You knew right from the start
Just what the end would be.
And I believe that Jesus
Did it all for me.

All for you;
All for me.
I think You knew right from the start
Just what the end would be.
And I believe that Jesus
Did it all for me.

Well, you say that He died;
And what you say is so;
But don’t you see He rose again?
That’s what you’ve got to know.
He prayed and cried and went and died,
Did all that He could do.
And I believe that Jesus
Did it all for you.

All for you;
All for me.
I think You knew right from the start
Just what the end would be.
And I believe that Jesus
Did it all for me.

At my worst You found me,
At my worst You died.
At my worst You loved me,
And at my worst You tried

Here we are in your presence
Lifting holy hands to You
Here we are praising Jesus
For the things He’s brought us through.

I don’t have the words to tell You how I feel,
I just don’t know what I can say
I’m not worthy to speak Your Holy Name,
Yet You tell me You love me just the same.

Here we are in Your presence
Lifting holy hands to You
Here we are praising Jesus
For the things He’s brought us through.

I never thought that it could be this way,
And I never thought I’d be the one,
But You found me dying in my sin.
And You looked at me with love that took me in.

Here we are in Your presence
Lifting holy hands to You
Here we are praising Jesus
For the things He’s brought us through.
For the things He’s brought us through.

The pain some people bear no one would believe;
The hurt that’s sometimes there makes it hard to see
That in the darkest hour there is still a way;
Listen to these simple words I say;

Jesus knows your hurt, Jesus feels your pain;
Jesus knows just how you feel, ’cause He’s felt just the same;
Jesus knows your need better than you do;
Just hold on to Jesus, He’s holding on to you!

Sometimes you feel alone, does He really care?
Has He left you all alone, and does He hear your pray’r?
Well, He has never left you or forsaken you one day;
Listen to these simple words I say;

Jesus knows your hurt, Jesus feels your pain;
Jesus knows just how you feel, ’cause He’s felt just the same;
Jesus knows your need better than you do;
Just hold on to Jesus, He’s holding on to you!
Just hold on to Jesus, He’s holding on to you!Oh, He died of a broken heart,I’m so glad He came into this heart of mine.

The eyes of God are upon me,
He sees everything I do.
The arms of God are around me,
They keep me safe and secure.

And He knows where I am
Every hour of every day
He knows each thought I think
He knows each word that I might say.
And although there’ve been times
I’ve been out of His will
I’ve never been out of His care.

This changing world alarms me,
With war, with sin, with strife.
But my loving Father charms me,
With joy, with peace, and with life.

And He knows where I am
Every hour of every day
He knows each though I think
He knows each word that I might say.
And although there’ve been times
I’ve been out of His will
I’ve never been out of His care.
I’ve never been out of His care.

Lord, You’ve made me happy
And, Lord, You’ve been so good.
Oh, you turned my life around
When I didn’t think You could;
And now I love this life of mine,
I love each passing day,
But with every breath I take
Inside my heart I say

Come, sweet Jesus; take me from this place,
I really don’t belong here now
I wanna see your face.
Come, sweet Jesus; come take me away,
I really wanna see you Lord.
Jesus come today.

Lord, we are Your people
Preparing now to be
Your bride, pure and holy
For all the world to see.
Come in clouds of angels
Take us all away
To the place that you’ve prepared-
Never ending day.

By Rick Crawford

Chorus:
Only one Lord, only one love,
Only one life to live for You.
Only one plea, only one prayer,
Only one pleasure; pleasing You.

Looking back throughout my days
Seems like things get in the way
Of doing that which pleases you,
And that’s not pleasing me.

Repeat Chorus

Jesus make me like you are
Change my heart and heal my scars,
Make me faithful, make me true
Make me Lord like you.

Here comes the rain, just a steady pour,
And all my happiness just walked out the door,
And I don’t think I’ll ever smile again;
I don’t see how, I don’t know when.
My heart is broke, I’ve never felt such pain,
And I don’t think I’ll ever be the same.
Well, they tell me Lord You know just how I feel.
Well, is it true and is it real?

Touch me with love
Please take my hand,
I’m too hurt to cry;
Too weak to stand.
I only want strength just for today
Tomorrow may never come anyway.

What’s that I see, the sun’s comin’ through
The clouds are all gone, the sky is still blue,
And I never thought I’d ever see the day
Well, what do ya know and what can I say?
You touched me with love,
You held to my hand,
You stood by my side,
You helped me to stand.
Your joy has replaced the sorrow I knew
And all of my happiness is in You.

Touch me with love
Please take my hand,
I’m too hurt to cry;
Too weak to stand.
I only want strength just for today
Tomorrow may never come anyway.

He loved me when nobody cared,
His mercy with me He shared.
He gave me all He could give,
Yes, He dies so I might live.

And you ask me how much I love Him,
Well, it’s more than words can say.
I love Him with each passing moment.
I love Him more each day.

Against The Wind

By Dallas Holm

Problems on the rise
Troubles just increase
Responsibilities never cease.
Fears and doubts assail,
Worries from within.
Sometimes life is just like walking
Against the wind.

Against the wind, against the wind,
Sometimes life is just like walking against the wind.
When the storms around me blow,
Jesus, please don’t let me go,
Take my hand and lead me on against the wind.

Accusations met, not a word you spoke
Love flowed from the heart that we broke.
Innocent from birth
Pure without within,
Yet You walked up Calvary’s hill
Against the wind.

Against the wind, against the wind,
Sometimes life is just like walking against the wind.
On a dark and stormy day, You just gave your life away
You were lifted up before us against the wind.

By Dallas Holm

See the man lying in the street
Cold and hungry trying to sleep
And you say, how’d he get to be that way

See the girl living on the run
Giving love away just for fun
And you say, how’d she get to be that way

Don’t you see that it could be you
Doing things you never thought you’d do
If it weren’t for Jesus
Where do you think you’d be
We were all headed down that road
‘Bout to crumble beneath the load
Then He rescued you and He rescued me
Without Jesus where do you think we’d be

See the boy full of hate
So impatient just can’t wait
And you say, how’d he get to be that way

See the hungry see the poor
They need your help but you slam the door
And then say, how’d they get to be that way

Don’t look down on the one who is down on his luck
We were down there too when He picked us up

Repeat Chorus

By Dallas Holm

Can’t see the light at the end of the tunnel
Can’t see that far down the road
Waiting in darkness I’m tempted to stumble
Weary from bearing this load
Desperately weighing all of my options
Scheming to find my own way
But after all of my planning is over
This is the most I can say

Lord I’m waiting, Lord I’m waiting
And I’m not gonna move
Till I’m able to prove Your will
Lord I’m waiting, Lord I’m waiting
Listening for You with my heart

Lord it’s so easy to find a solution
Something that seems right to me
But plans that are born out of my own confusion
Will not help my blind eyes to see
All of the steps that You’ve laid out before me
Steps that are Yours and not mine
So I’ll be content just to wait in Your presence
Patiently biding Your time

Repeat Chorus

Lord I have need of patience
Help me to rest in You
I am detained in my weakness
There’s not a thing I can do

Repeat Chorus

By Billy Simon

Hot on the trail of God’s will
And getting warmer still
Got it together this time around
There’s nothing to stop you now

Stopped by the slam of a door
God, what’d You do that for
Sometimes we just don’t understand
How He wants to let us in

When God closes a door, look for a window
Oh look for a window
Don’t stand at the door, there might be a window
Oh look for a window

Responsibilities change
And so do our pathways
One way God shows which way to go
Is to let the old road close

Repeat Chorus

There’s no point in getting down on yourself
God is only point you somewhere else

Repeat Chorus

By Geoff Thurman, Becky Thurman, Steven V. Taylor

Verse:
Sitting in the silence
Brings reflection to my mind
The cross is there before me
As I leave the past behind
I remember all the things
You’ve done for me
Your strength in my weakness I can see

Verse:
You gave all I needed
When Your precious life was lost
Master of the universe
The victor on the cross
Now I choose to serve You, Lord
Forevermore
And I know that I must count the cost

Chorus:
I will serve You
Every moment
Lord of my heart
I will serve You
All my life

Repeat Chorus

And I know that I must
Count the costFor the things He’s brought us through.

She was led there condemnation
They knew her fate was now insured
As He heard every accusation
Her shame and her guilt endured

They knew death was the right solution
But the Lord had another plan
Take away their righteous illusion
Teach compassion to every man

Chorus:
You are her accusers
You try to abuse her
You don’t know the Holy One
Who of you is worthy
Who will see His glory
Who will throw the first stone

There are none of us here so righteous
That our lives are not marred by sin
Our vain strivings become so pious
We lose touch with the Grace within

Jesus cries for our heartless anger
He once bled just to pay the price
We forget how we once refused love
How we saw life with blinded eyes

We are her accusers
We try to abuse her
We don’t know the Holy One
Who of us is worthy
Who will see His glory
Who will throw the first stone

Repeat Second Chorus

Verse:
Only one life to live
Only one heart to give
Only one song to sing
Only these words to bring
There are not enough days
There are not enough ways
How can I let You see
All that You mean to me

Chorus:
Jesus, You are my everything
Each breath I take, each song I sing
Jesus You made my life complete
My saddest song is now so sweet

Verse:
Lord, You have been so good
Loved me like no one could
Guided me every day
Helped me in every way
Jesus, You are my Friend
Now and until the end
How can I let You see
All that You mean to me.

Repeat Chorus

Verse:
Sweetness in place of my sorrow
Joy from the depths of my pain
Now there’s a hope for tomorrow
Since I have trusted Your name.

Some folks say that winnin’ is a major thing in life
Others say that that’s all wrong
Others say that’s right
Well, I have found the way that I can lose and win the prize
Winnin’ comes when I can lose myself in Jesus Christ!

So, I got to lose myself and find myself in Him
I must lose myself if I am gonna win.
The crown of life becomes the prize
That losers hope to gain.
Let’s all lose ourselves in Him and win
In Jesus’ name!

It’s a fight we fight in, overcome our foe
The ones we fight is fightin’ hard to overtake our soul.
And by our strength we wouldn’t stand the slightest chance to win
With the help of Jesus,
We can do the devil in!

So, I got to lose myself and find myself in Him
I must lose myself if I am gonna win.
The crown of life becomes the prize
That losers hope to gain.
Let’s all lose ourselves in Him and win
In Jesus’ name!

He’ll dry the tears from your eyes
He’ll take the pain from your heart
He’ll move the clouds from your skies
He’ll dry the tears from your eyes

He knows the way that you feel
He’s felt the weight that you bear
He knows it’s all very real
He knows the way that you feel

Chorus:
For He is touched with the feelings of your weaknesses
He has been there too
In your despair remember all His promises
He will see you through

He’ll never leave you alone
He’ll always stay by your side
A friend like none you have known
He’ll never leave you alone

Beyond The Curtain

By Dallas Holm

Go ahead, Drive the nails in my hands;
Laugh at me where you stand;
Go ahead, and say it isn’t me;
The day will come when you will see!
‘Cause I’ll…

Chorus:
rise again; Ain’t no pow’r on earth
Can tie me down; Yes, I’ll rise again
Death can’t keep me in the ground!

Go ahead, and mock my name;
My love for you is still the same;
Go ahead and bury me;
But very soon I will be free!
‘Cause I’ll…

Repeat Chorus

Go ahead and say I’m dead and gone,
But you will see that you were wrong
Go ahead, try to hide the Son,
But all will see that I’m the One!
‘Cause I’ll…

Chorus

Come again; Ain’t no pow’r on earth
Can keep me back; Yes, I’ll come again
Come to take my people back.

By Paul Smith and Tommy Greer

Like a Texas wind that blows in springtime
In the morning sun I feel it grow
The ever restless spirit of the Lord
Moving through my soul
Calling me to go the distance
Where love demands a higher price
Fields of white are burning for the harvest
On the second mile

Far away
To new frontiers and places
Where we’ve never dared before
Someone is cryin’
Someone is dyin’
Somewhere down the road
Where I have yet to go.

I stand upon a lonely hillside
I close my eyes and Lord, I see
Every extra step of love
You took to rescue me
And I ride upon Your strength and courage
For every step of faith I need
To reach a world that’s waiting for love
On the second mile.

Far across
The borders of a nation
Or to a neighbor next door
Someone is cryin’
Someone is dyin’
Somewhere down a road
Where I have yet to go
Somewhere down the road
On the second mile.

I knew life had its valleys
Never thought that it would not be so,
But even if they’d told me
I never would’ve thought they’d be this low.
I’ve stood upon the mountain
Looked across to higher peaks and more,
But the only way to reach them
Is to journey through the lowly valley floor.

How long have I been travelin’
Days or year, sometimes I just don’t know.
How deep is this valley,
And how many more miles must I go?
My body’s growing weary
Seems my strength has all but slipped away.
Oh, God, You’ve got to help me;
Place Your healing hand on me today.

Heal me, touch me with your love
Heal me, send Your Spirit from above
(And) Hear me, help me Lord I pray,
Jesus come and make me whole today.

Oh, God, I know You’re faithful,
Leading me each step every day,
But sometimes in the valley
I just forget You’ve often passed this way.
The path is steep and narrow;
Seems this upward climb will never stop,
So, God, I hold to you,
And in strength I know I’ll make the top.

By Dallas Holm

Lay my head upon my pillow
Trying hard to sleep.
Lying in a bed of comfort
I began to weep.
How can I just dream my dreams
And simply drift along,
When I know by the time I wake
Thousands will be gone.

(They’ll be) Gone forever, perishing alone,
Gone forever, never having known
Of One who loved them with a love
They never knew in life.
So I cry in the darkness
Cause they never saw the Light.

Lord, how it must break Your heart
To see them slip away.
Perishing in countless numbers
Every passing day.
Half the world has never yet
Even heard Your name
And those of us who know You well
We’re the ones to blame.

And how will they know
And now who will go
To take the message of your love to everyone.

By Larry Bryant

Verse:
A peasant girl in Mexico, a teacher in Bombay
In Africa a fisherman, a housewife in L.A.
People just people in every single land
Have never known the Savior’s love
Or felt His healing hand

Chorus:
Untold millions remain untold
People hungry for the bread that feeds the soul
Multitudes unheard of have yet to hear
We must go, we must preach
We must make the message clear
That Jesus saves, Jesus saves

Verse:
Across the world from where we live
And right across the street
Neighbors we know very well
And souls we’ll never meet
People just people trying to find their way
Searching in the darkness for the light of day

But the laborers are few
But by His might the world will know
There is hope in God
There is life brand new

You know who I’m praying for,
You see him right now
Reveal Your love (repeat)
Send Your Spirit out to him
Touch his heart somehow
Reveal Your love (repeat)
I’ve done all I know to do
To bring him face to face with You,
And I’ve said everything I know to say.
Give him just a glimpse of You
Show him that Your love is true
God I pray that this would be his day
Reveal Your love

A young girl runs away from home
Why? It isn’t clear
Reveal Your love (repeat)
Days are filled with loneliness
And nights are filled with fear,
Reveal Your love (repeat)
She sits by the telephone
And thinks of maybe calling home,
But just can’t seem to find the words to say,
So give her just a glimpse of You
Show her that Your love is true
God I pray that this would be her day.
Reveal Your love.

Millions, Lord, are perishing
Each and every day
Reveal Your love (repeat)
Send someone to rescue them
And help them find the Way
Reveal Your Love (repeat)
Lord, am I the one to go?
Speak to me and let me know,
Here am I so send me on Your way,
Give them just a glimpse of You;
Show them that Your love is true
God I pray that this could be their day.

Just a taste of Holy love,
And to feel Your touch
To a weary soul can mean so much

By Dallas Holm

Long, hot days, deathly still
Test the mind, try the will
Sleepless nights seem so long
Toss and turn, peace is gone.

I closed the door, turned the key
But I can’t hide inside of me
There You stand just outside
Help unlock this door of pride.

This dwelling place was not designed
For me to live alone inside
I need Your love, Your helping hand
Without Your strength, this house won’t stand.

So, I open up my windows
I open up my doors
Draw the curtain back
So I can feel the breeze once more
Breath of the living God
Wind of the Spirit
Blow through me
Currents of Holy wind
Rush through my being
Blow… through me.

Now I’m clean fresh and new
From the Holy breath of You.
Here I stand open wide
Nothing now left to hide.

So, I open up my windows
I open up my doors
Draw the curtain back
So I can feel the breeze once more
Breath of the living God
Wind of the Spirit
Blow through me
Currents of Holy wind
Rush through my being
Blow… through me.

Chorus:
I’m just believin’ in the Lord
I’m just receivin’ His reward
Day by day, on my way
I’m just receivin’ and believin’ in the Lord

Verse:

Lightning flashes, no surprise
That’s the way life can be
But the clouds will blow away eventually.

Verse:
I don’t worry, I don’t fret
God has never failed me yet
Though sometimes I feel alone
He won’t leave me or forsake me this I know.

If you’re blue, feeling down
Lost your smile, wear a frown
Don’t give up, don’t give in

It would have been enough for me
To stand beyond the Court
To view Your beauty from afar
A glance, but nothing more
But it was not enough for You
The distance far too great
You tore the Curtain with Your love
And called me through the Gate

Chorus:
Beyond the Curtain
Into His presence
Beyond the Holy Place
Into God’s throne
Emmanuel is He
Reigning in majesty
Beyond the Curtain
He welcomes me home

It still was not enough for You
To call me to Your throne
To offer greater fellowship
Than man had ever known
What king would dare deny His pow’r
To die for lawless slaves
So God could dwell, Emmanuel
In human hearts of clay?

Soldiers Again; Holm Sheppard & Johnson

I never knew this cold happen to me
till You changed ev’rything that I do.
I love the thrill that I feel knowin’ You
are livin’ in me.

Now there’s more to love than what I can see
and it’s more than just a feelin’ that’s true
But I still love the thrill that I feel knowin’
You are livin’ in me.

More of Your wisdom, More of Your power
More of Your glory workin’ in me.
Hey, Oh, feel every heartbeat, walk with ev’ry drumbeat.
I want to know how You feel, I want to do Your will
ev’ry step of the way.
I want to feel ev’ry heartbeat, walk with ev’ry drumbeat,
I want to know how You feel, I want to do Your will,
ev’ry step of the way,
I want to do what You say.

Give me a heart that is tender and true,
to ev’rything that You want me to be,
Full of the love that comes from knowin’ that You
are livin’ in me.

More of Your power, More of Your glory
Till there is just no more of me.

I want to feel every heartbeat, walk with ev’ry drumbeat.
I want to know how You feel, I want to do Your will
ev’ry step of the way.Come to take my people back.

Give me this water, Lord, I’m so thirsty.
One sip of living water, and I will never thirst again.

Lord, You know I’ve climed the mountain,
swept across this valley floor,
Searched high and low, but Lord, I’ve never found
what I’m looking for.

Now You’re standing here before me,
knowing all I’ve been.
Drink from You well, You say
and I will be free from sin.

Give me this water, Lord, I’m so thirsty,
One sip of living water, and I will never thirst again.

Lord, lead me to this river,
show me where to start.
Bathe my burning soul, quench my thirst,
fill my heart.

Give me this water, Lord, I’m so thirsty,
One sip of living water, and I will never thirst again.

Mirages of the world have left me so thirsty and dry.
Lead me to Your well of mercy, or I’ll surely die.

Give me this water, Lord, I’m so thirsty,
One sip of living water, and I will never thirst again.
Give me this water, Lord, I’m so thirsty,On the second mile.

I am a fighter
I have put my trust in Him
I am a fighter
I will win

I am a fighter
And I will not lose this time
I’m a fighter
You can’t take this heart of mine
Cause I’m a believer
I have put my trust in Him
I am a fighter
I will win

Life is a struggle
There is temptation every day
Sometimes in weakness
I have fallen on my way
I have been beaten so many times before
But I am determined not anymore

Chorus

We’re not fighting flesh and blood
But an unseen power
Our enemy is one we cannot see
Its not by might, not by strength, but by the Spirit’s power
We will finally win the victory

Cause we are fighters
And we will not lose today
We are fighters
You can’t take our hearts away
We are believers
We have put our trust in Him
We are fighters
We will win

In my dreams I can hear the sound of a trumpet
Through the night I can see a city of light
In the morning we’ll rise to meet Him in glory
We’ll be standin’ there, lookin’ in His eyes
Standin’ there free from all the sorrow
Standin’ there lookin’ in His eyes
Standin’ there, praisin’ the Father
For sending His Son to die.

This world holds no rest for the wondering pilgrim
Only labor for Him Who suffered and died
While my hands work the fields
My soul cries within me
To be standin’ there, lookin’ in His eyes.

Standin’ there free from all the sorrow
Standin’ there lookin’ in His eyes
Standin’ there, praisin’ the Father
For sending His Son to die.

No more darkness, no more night
No more sorrow, we’ll be lookin’ in His eyes.

Standin’ there, free from all the sorrow
Standin’ there, lookin’ in His eyes
We’ll be standin’ there, praisin’ the Father for
Sending His Son to die.
We’ll be standin’ there, lookin’ in His eyes
Standin’ there praising the Father
For sending His Son to die
For sending His Son to die.

Verse:
He said,
What is this fighting for
Is this just like before
Haven’t you learned
Why would you turn this way
What are you searching for
Would you still want for more
What will you find
What’s on your mind this time?

Chorus:
Lord, who among us is the greatest
Who among us knows best the depth of Your Heart
Which one will it be
One of these or me
Then He smiled
Holding a child in His arms.

Verse:
Is it so hard to see
Why do we disagree
Didn’t He show
Shouldn’t we know by now
What is this fighting for
This is just like before
What will you find
What’s on your mind this time?

Chorus:
Lord, who among us is the greatest
Who among us knows best the depth of Your Heart
Which one will it be
One of these or me
Then He smiled
Holding a child in His arms.

Which one will it be
One of these or me
Still He smiles
Holding a child in His arms
What is this fighting for?

Well she sits at the gates of the city
She cries out loud to anyone who’ll hear, “Come near”
On the highest place in all the land
Where all paths come together she takes her stand alone
Well the people come from far and near
Some don’t see and some don’t hear her cry, I wonder why?

Wisdom
Wisdom
Wisdom
Come to me.

She is life to those who find her
She is joy to those who seek to hold her near, do you hear
Her embrace is worth much more than gold
Like a jewel so precious that can’t be bought or sold
But the people pass her by each day
Never see her on their way
Oh why, hear her cry.

Wisdom
Wisdom
Wisdom
Come to me.

I have seen a house in the street below
I have watched the foolish come and go
From the one who spreads her bed with linens and lies
Her embrace will exact such an awful toll
In the end it will cost them their very soul
Through the shadows they slip and fall
So removed within her walls from

Wisdom
Wisdom
Wisdom
Come to me.

Backyard soldiers, little boys
We fought the enemy with little toys
Sticks for swords, hands for guns
Every battle always won.

But as we grew and went our way
We forgot about our soldier days
No more swords, no more guns
No more battles to be won.

But we were wrong
We did not see we still had an enemy
So now we stand Friend with friend
We are soldiers once again.

We are soldiers again
In the army of the Lord
We are soldiers again
And His Word is our sword
We will not be denied with Him by our side
We know the victory we’ll win
We will fight till the end
Soldiers again.

And we still can’t even see the one we are fighting
But we stand with One who can, the Lord God Almighty.

We are soldiers again
In the army of the Lord
We are soldiers again
And His Word is our sword
We will not be denied with Him by our side
We know the victory we’ll win
We will fight till the end
Soldiers again.

Through The Flame

By Dallas Holm

I have watched the storm clouds gather on the horizon;
I have listened to the distant thunder roll.
I have felt a stronger current in the ocean;
I have felt a stronger current in my soul.

I have felt the earth tremble beneath my feet;
I have heard the breakers crash upon the shore.
I have seen a stronger wind begin to gather;
I have heard the raindrops pounding on my door.

Be my shelter, be my sanctuary,
Spread your mighty loving wings and cover me.
Be my Savior from the adversary,
Be my ever present help in time of need.

All the earth is groaning,
Waiting for the Day.
Find me to be faithful,
Lead me in the Way.

I can almost hear the host of Heaven singing;
I can almost feel the power around the throne.
While I wait to make that final distant journey;
And until I finally make that place my home.

Repeat Chorus

By Dallas Holm

You know I’ve been down the road,
Been around the bend.
You know there were times when I really
Wished it all could end;
Not ’cause I did not love, not ’cause I did not care,
Never because there were times when I did not
Think that You were there.

It’s just that sometimes
I wonder ’bout this thing I do –
Running ’round the world,
Singing my songs for You.
I do it because You love me,
And I do it ’cause I love You,
But sometimes I worry that
I do what I do
Because it’s just, it’s just what I do.

People sit out in the dark;
I stand in the light.
Often times it hits me so
That this just don’t seem right.
Who made the decision, who said this must be?
Sometimes I wish I were you
And you could just be me.

Chorus

Oh, please don’t worry ’cause I love Him so
And I’m in no hurry to leave what I know.

Chorus

Chorus:
River runnin’ free let your water flow through me
Reach beyond where I can see
Quench some thirsty soul in need
River… River

Verse:
I have lived in the desert
I dwelt in a barren land
Once I built my life upon the shifting sand
I had no firm foundation
Had no shelter to cover me
There was little hope that I could see.

Verse:
Then I looked across this thirsty land
Felt the heat of the burning sand
Didn’t think that I could live another day
But then what had seemed a hopeless thing

Turned into a desert spring
And its waters washed my hopelessness away.

Bridge:
Oh, river flow through me
Touch every soul I see
Flow out of me.

By Holm – Johnson

Chorus:
All I know He touched me
From the dark I am free
Blinded eyes now can see how to follow.
All I know He touched me
From the dark I am free
And now I know that He is all I know.

Verse:
Born in a world of endless night,
Darkness was all he knew.
Without the light what could he hope to do.
Begging for bread day after day,
Living in dark despair
Why must it be – did anybody care?

Verse:
The sound of a voice, touch of a hand,
Healing his eyes with clay,
Cleansed in a pool, blindness was washed away.
How can this be, how does he see?
Tell us who was this man.
The beggar replied – I’m just not sure I can.

Verse:
I, too, was lost – hopelessly lost,
Darkness surrounded me.
Alone in the night, without the light to see.
Then He passed by, Light of the world
Touching these eyes of clay,
Piercing the dark, chasing the night away.

By Dallas Holm

Verse:
It’s been a lot of years,
Been a lot of tears;
Every now and then there’s some pain
Though sometimes I’ve failed
When the storms prevailed
He has always stayed the same.

Chorus:
And I still love Jesus
He’s my dearest Friend, faithful to the end
I still love Jesus and He still loves me.

Verse:
When I faced my fear
He was always near
Every thought I prayed He always heard
When I lost my place
He held me by His grace
He has always kept His word.

Repeat Chorus

Bridge:
I’d never made it through
If it weren’t for You
You’re my rock, my fortress, You’re my Friend
Where else could I go?
What else could I know
You are the beginning and the end.

By Dallas Holm

Verse:
We are on a journey in a foreign land Weary pilgrims trying to find our way
We really don’t belong here, we’re just passing through
We’re all looking for a brighter day
One day we’ll see Jesus, look upon His face
And when we stand before Him on that day
We will sing His praises, shout His name on high
And with the host of Heaven we will say.

Chorus:
Through the flame, through the fire
Through the storm, through the flood
We have been lifted higher by the strength
And by the blood of the Lamb!

Verse:
Through some tribulations, through the tempter’s snares
Always with our foe on every side
We kept pressing onward to a promised land
Often as by fire we were tried
Soon it will be over, never more to roam
As our weary souls to Him we bring
Laying down our sorrow, lifting up our praise
To the Rock of Ages we will sing.

Chorus:
You can do great things
You can do great things
He said go in His name and do more
You can do great things
You can do great things
Believe you can do great things thru the Lord.

Verse:
Speaking words of comfort on that day
Jesus told those with Him, “Trust in Me.”
And calling them to live as men of faith
He said, “Just like I’ve done, you will do great things.”

Verse:
Stand up to that mountain in your life
Tell it to be tossed into the sea
Watch as humble faith is turned to sight
The power is yours, but first you must believe.

The love of God is great far
Than tongue or pen can ever tell,
It goes beyond the highest star
And reaches to the lowest hell;
The guilty pair, bowed down with care,
God gave His Son to win:
His erring child He reconciled
And pardoned from his sin.

Could we with ink the ocean fill
And were the skies of parchment made,
Were ev’ry stalk on earth a quill
And ev’ry man a scribe by trade,
To write the love of God above
Would drain the ocean dry,
Nor could the scroll contain the whole
Tho stretched from sky to sky.

O love of God, how rich and pure!
How measureless and strong!
It shall forevermore endure –
The saints’ and angels’ song.

Jesus got ahold of my life and He won’t let me go!
Jesus got into my heart; He got into my soul!
I used to be oh so sad,
But now I’m just a free and glad,
‘Cause Jesus got ahold of my life and He won’t let go!

Sometimes I remember how I used to be livin’ in sin;
I tried to act happy and free but I wasn’t within;
I fooled a lot of friends of mine,
They tho’t I had some peace of mind,
But I never had a thing until I opened up and let Jesus in!

You try to laugh your way thro’ life but you’re not gainin’ ground;

Go ahead, Drive the nails in my hands;
Laugh at me where you stand;

Can tie me down; Yes, I’ll rise again
Death can’t keep me in the ground!

Go ahead, and mock my name;
My love for you is still the same;
Go ahead and bury me;
But very soon I will be free!
‘Cause I’ll…

Repeat Chorus

Go ahead and say I’m dead and gone,
But you will see that you were wrong
Go ahead, try to hide the Son,
But all will see that I’m the One!
‘Cause I’ll…

Come again; Ain’t no pow’r on earth
Can keep me back; Yes, I’ll come again
Come to take my people back.

Here we are in your presence
Lifting holy hands to You
Here we are praising Jesus
For the things He’s brought us through.

I don’t have the words to tell You how I feel,
I just don’t know what I can say
I’m not worthy to speak Your Holy Name,
Yet You tell me You love me just the same.

Here we are in Your presence
Lifting holy hands to You
Here we are praising Jesus
For the things He’s brought us through.

I never thought that it could be this way,
And I never thought I’d be the one,
But You found me dying in my sin.
And You looked at me with love that took me in.

Here we are in Your presence
Lifting holy hands to You
Here we are praising Jesus
For the things He’s brought us through.
For the things He’s brought us through.

Verse:
All I had to give I gave;
All I had to say I’ve said to you.
What will you do?
All the tears I’ve cried for you
All the pain I’ve felt inside for you.
What will you do?

Chorus:
Will you turn Me down today?
Will you up and walk away?
Inside your heart you’ll say it’s not for me.
So laugh at Me and turn Me away;
Say anything you want to say;
But all I’m telling you is true
And all I’ve done I’ve done for you.

Verse:
All your life I’ve tried and tried
Just to find a place inside of you,
What will you do?
Think of all the things I’ve said;
Think how on the cross I bled for you.
What will you do?

Chorus

Ending:
And now I guess it’s up to you.
What will you do?
What will you do?

So you got your heart broke in two,
And you hurt so bad you don’t know what to do;
And you think that you’re the only one who’s ever felt this way,
But there was sure another One another day.

And He died of a broken heart,
It broke for you and me.
He loved us more than words can say,
And more than we could see;
His death was not from pain He felt while hanging on that tree;
No, He died of a broken heart for you and me.

And it seems you’ve come to the end,
And you’re standing all alone without a friend;
And you’re just so sure that no one’s ever hurt this bad before,
But there was One who hurt this bad and even more!

And He died of a broken heart,
It broke for you and me.
He loved us more than words can say,
And more than we could see;
His death was not from pain He felt while hanging on that tree;
No, He died of a broken heart
Oh, He died of a broken heart,
Yes, He died because He loves you and me!

O, I know you may get weary,
And the times they may get rough.
You may not have all you want,
But you’ll always have enough.
And when your darkest hour comes,
Just remember what I say:
I’ve never seen the righteous forsaken,
Or their seed begging for bread!

O, I know it seems so hopeless,
And you don’t know what to pray.
You’ve done all you know to do,
And it seems there’s just no way.
And when you feel you’re at the end,
Just remember what I say:
I’ve never seen the righteous forsaken,
Or their seed begging for bread!

I’ve never seen God’s people
With a need that He could not meet!
I know that He cares for His own,
And His promises He’ll keep.

So just hold on a little longer
The answer’s soon to come.
The endless waiting’s almost over,
The vict’ry’s almost won.
And when again you feel His joy,
You’ll remember what I said:
I’ve never seen the righteous forsaken,
Or their seed begging for bread!

I’ve never seen the righteous forsaken,
I’ve never seen the righteous forsaken,
I’ve never seen the righteous forsaken,
Or their seed begging for bread.

Why don’t you laugh, and why don’t you smile?
Why don’t you just praise the Lord for a while,
‘Cause you’re saved, saved, saved
And you ought to feel good.
Well, you were so wrong before,
But now you fina’lly did the best thing you could.

Well, don’t you worry, and don’t be distressed;
Trust in Jesus and just do your best,
And you’re saved, saved, saved;
All you gotta do is try, try, try.
And if you’re saved in this life,
You’ll be saved in the sweet bye and bye.

We don’t deserve the love that He shares;
We don’t deserve the way that He cares.
I guess it’s just that He loves us so,
And He wants everyone to know.
We shouldn’t worry and we shouldn’t fret
Because our God has never failed us yet,
‘Cause we’re saved, saved, saved;
It’s the only way to be.
Well, now I tried the other,
But Jesus is the way for me!

We don’t deserve the love that He shares;
We don’t deserve the way that He cares.
I guess it’s just that He loves us so,
And He wants everyone to know.
We shouldn’t worry and we shouldn’t fret
Because our God has never failed us yet,
‘Cause we’re saved, saved, saved;
It’s the only way to be.
Well, now I tried the other,
But Jesus is the way for me.
Well, now I tried the other,
And Jesus is the way for me!

The place was white as snow
and pure as finest gold.
It had the look of new,
yet had the look of old.
I felt like I was home,
but felt so far away,
In fear I thought to leave,
but felt the urge to stay.

And then a silence fell
like none I’d ever known.
I stood among the millions,
I stood there all alone.
His face was like the sun,
His eyes were like the sea,
His voice was like the thunder
rolling through eternity.

And…
I saw the Lord
He was high and lifted up
and rightfully adored

And…
I saw the Lord
and He saw me

And then from sleep awakened
I looked into the night.
The darkness overtaken
By a bright and shining light.
I couldn’t understand it
I couldn’t reason how,
And then my eyes beheld Him
I wasn’t dreaming now

And…
I saw the Lord
He was high and lifted up
And rightfully adored,

And…
I saw the Lord
And He saw me.

By Phil Johnson

The eyes of God are upon me,
He sees everything I do.
The arms of God are around me,
They keep me safe and secure.

And He knows where I am
Every hour of every day
He knows each thought I think
He knows each word that I might say.
And although there’ve been times
I’ve been out of His will
I’ve never been out of His care.

This changing world alarms me,
With war, with sin, with strife.
But my loving Father charms me,
With joy, with peace, and with life.

And He knows where I am
Every hour of every day
He knows each though I think
He knows each word that I might say.
And although there’ve been times
I’ve been out of His will
I’ve never been out of His care.
I’ve never been out of His care.

Chorus:
It’s a losing game
Life without the Lord is just a losing game
And, it’s a crying shame
‘Cause when you lose you’ve only got yourself to blame
He’s tried to tell you so many times
You turn your back and just close your mind
And play the losing game
Don’t be such a fool and play the losing game

If you’re gambling your life away
Moment by moment, day by day
You’re taking chances that are never gonna pay
You’re the only one to blame
You really oughta be ashamed
‘Cause no one ever wins at a losing game

Chorus

Games are made to win or lose
Will you play, that’s yours to choose
But no one ever wins at a losing game

Chorus

By Dallas Holm

Well, my Jesus is a river of love
And He flows from Heaven above
He’ll take every sin you have
And He’ll wash it away
You just jump in the water today
You won’t drown if you learn to pray
Well, my Jesus is a river of love
And He’s flowing your way

There’s a river flowing
Out from Heaven’s sea
There’s a river reachin’
Out for you and me
Streams of living water
Clear as they can be
So come on in, the water’s fine
And it will set you free

If you need a cleansing
Children don’t delay
There’s a mighty river
Flowin’ here today
It can wash and make you
Clean as you can be
So come on in the water’s fine
And it will set you free

Hittin’ the road one more time,
Leaving the wife and the kids behind.
Sure never do this for nobody but You.

String my guitar; pack up my clothes.
Get on the bus and then get on the road.
I’d never walk out the door if it wasn’t for You.

But You left heaven for me.
Hit the roads and the shores of Galilee.
Gave Yourself at Calvary;
So I’ve gotta go and tell them what You’ve done for me.

Burgers and fries; motel rooms;
Short nights and long afternoons.
Sure never do this for nobody but You.

Load in at four; focus the lights;
Get ready for one more night.
I’d never walk on the stage if it wasn’t for You.

But You left heaven for me.
Hit the roads and the shores of Galilee.
Gave Yourself at Calvary;
So I’ve gotta go and tell them what You’ve done for me.

Repeat Chorus

So I’ve gotta go and tell them what You’ve done for me.

Chain Of Grace

By Dallas Holm

All the windows are broken
All the lights have gone dim
All the doors they hang open
Letting time move in

Built on a poor foundation
And time has not been too kind
Almost complete devastation
That’s why I’m here to remind

That the Lord has gone before us
To prepare a place forever
If it weren’t so He’d have told us
But He told us what well find

Chorus:
In my Father’s house
In my Father’s house
There are many mansions
In my Father’s house
In my Father’s house

And so make sure that your treasure
Is not where rust can destroy
But let your heart be forever
Be made rich with the joy

Master, Builder, Maker of all things
Great Provider, all of Heaven sings

By Dallas Holm

Lord, I have been so blessed
More than words can say
You have met all my needs
In every way
But there is one thing more
I want to ask You for

Chorus:
Let me touch one more life
Give me just one more soul
Let me feel Your spirit move again
And take complete control
Let me help one more weary pilgrim
Reach the final goal
Jesus, all I ask of You
(give me) just one – (give me) just one
More soul

So many broken lives
Hurting deep inside
So many wounded hearts
Are cast aside
I just can’t turn away
Give me the words to say

Chorus

Oh Lord, Hear my prayer
I just want to share
The life you’ve given me
The love I’ve come to know
With everyone, everywhere I go

By Jeff Silvey and Billy Simon

I’ve seen seeds fall from calloused hands;
I’ve prayed and prayed for rain.
I’ve got blisters on my heart,
Where I’ve been raking weeds away.
I’ve seen souls sprout up from the soil in rebirth,
And reach their roots out across the earth,
Growing wild, wild, yea.

Chorus:
There’s no better feeling when you see the tears
Fall down as evidence that He is here.
Jesus keeps changing lives
When we spread the Word and watch the number climb.
Oh to be a link in this line of faith,
To help steer somebody to see His face;
Then watch them turn around and do the same thing,
In this chain of grace.

He said take My Word and spread it out,
Go cultivate some fields.
Raise babes into their servanthood,
Until they’re ready to take the wheel.
I praise the Lord for those I may never meet
Who some time and place I may have reached,
Through Your perfect love.

Chorus

By Dallas Holm

A desperate man in a desperate situation
Thought that I could make it on my own
Never had the slightest inclination
To trust my life to the greatest unknown.

Then I had a sudden revelation
Just like a light turning on in me
And now I have such a great anticipation
Of what my life will be eternally.

Because…
Love has come over me
Captured my spirit
Set my soul free
Now I just can’t believe
How different I am since
Love has come over me.

So won’t you make a fresh evaluation
Think about your life, about your soul
You can be a mighty new creation
He can touch your heart and make you whole
Then you will have a wonderful sensation
When you decide to give Him everything
Then you’ll join the Holy celebration
And lift your voice and begin to sing.

Chorus

I will never be the same
Since I called on Jesus’ name.

Chorus

By Eddie DeGarmo

In this life there are attractions
That will lure down a path
And there are times, when we all confuse
The endless with what will pass.

And I can’t chase down the rainbow’s end
I may find some treasure there
And one moment it will try and please
Then will vanish in the air.

Chorus:
If I acquired it all tomorrow
I know I would clearly see
Contained in all of life’s mementoes
Nothing can satisfy me
Like Jesus, life Jesus.

Some will say that the strong survive
The powerful rule the earth
And there are those whose legacy
Is fame for what that’s worth.

And I’ve been told I should seek these things
‘Cause contentment’s waiting by
And Lord I’ll choose to follow a king
Whose treasures don’t fade or die.

Chorus

By Phil Barnhart and Bruce Carroll

Judging from the headlines and talk about the hard times
You’d think there was nothing but bad news
But you and I know better and all of us together
Can tell the world that Jesus is the Truth.

Chorus:
Cause everybody’s looking for something to believe in
A pure and simple reason to go on
We’ve got the information that could change their situation
And if we cared enough we would give them
Something to believe in.

It’s spelled out in the scripture clear as any picture
We’re supposed to knock on every door
Those empty hearts are waiting, why are we hesitating
We just can’t stay silent anymore.

Chorus

The last days are upon us, time is running out
We’ve got to show the world what God is all about.

Chorus

By Dallas Holm

Woke up this morning
Sat at the breakfast table
Picked up the paper read the news
Another war in some far off corner
Who will win who will lose.

Down at the store beside the checkout counter
A picture of a little girl
It’s been a year since anyone has seen her
Is she still living in this world.

Well it breaks my heart, this world that we’ve made
And it’s time we made a change.

It’s time to turn back the darkness
Time to believe what we’ve been told
That the earth is the Lord’s and its fullness
So be strong, be brave, be bold.

It’s time to go, it’s time to do
It’s time for me, it’s time for you
We’ve got power in His name.

Until He comes
We’ve got to fight the battle
Until the victory is won
We can’t give in the Crown of Life is waiting
For all the ones who overcome.

By Dallas Holm

I started out living for Jesus many years ago
He gave me His love and I gave Him my heart and my soul
Some folks said that I’d never make it
But I guess that they must’ve been wrong
Cause He’s still got control of my life
And I’m still going strong

Don’t wanna be a sudden sensation
Don’t wanna be a one night stand
You know I’m gonna live forever
You might say I’m a long-term man
Cause I made a commitment
I’m standing on the Lord’s side
And I’m not turning back
Cause I’m in it for the long ride

I can’t say it’s always been easy, but that’s okay
Well discipleship costs and I’ve always been willing to pay
Sometimes it’s been a bit of a burden
But He has helped me to carry the load
And we’re still traveling side by side
Down that narrow road

Chorus

I’ve put a lot of miles behind, but there are still some more to come
And when I reach the end the Lord will still be number one

By Billy Simon and Jeff Silvey

Mind over matter, the power’s in yourself
You’re the only one who can make a change
That’s what they’re saying
Your heart is the master, no absolutes
And God is everything including you
The facts are bound to get all twisted
When men start making rules
But I will not be fooled because

Chorus:
I know the Lord, and His Word is true
It’s nothing new, there’s no mystery at all
Because I know the Lord I am not deceived
By these beliefs that rearrange the truth
All my hope is built on nothing less
Than Jesus’ blood and righteousness
Oh I know the Lord, I know the one way home
And I ought to know, cause I know the Lord.

From the beginning of the earth and sky
Originating life the Lord was challenged
His holiest message falsified
To turn away our eyes confuse our minds
But the gospel is eternal for the truth can never die
I know what is right.

He is the First, He is the Last, and through the future
From the past
This Rock cannot be shaken, the Rock on which I stand.

By Dallas Holm

I just said goodbye to someone I loved
Never pass this way again
The time we had
Just wasn’t enough
And it hurts to reach the end.

A whole lifetime
Is really no time at all
Just a moment, then it’s gone.

Chorus:
But… next time it will be forever
Then our hearts will be renewed
There we’ll always be together
Next time it will be forever.

I don’t understand, but I still believe
There’s a purpose in Your plan
And though I may feel that I can’t go on
In Your strength I know I can.

A whole lifetime
Is really no time at all
Just a moment, then it’s gone.

Chorus

And I know that just as sure as there’s a God above
We’ll be reunited once again someday
Then forever we will be together in His love
And together in His love we’ll always stay.

Chorus

Completely Taken In

Words by Rhea Miller, Music by George Beverly Shea, Arrangement by Dallas Holm

I’d rather have Jesus
than silver or gold
I’d rather have Him
than riches untold
I’d rather have Jesus
than houses or land
I’d rather be led
by His nail scarred hand

Than to be the king of a vast domain
And be held in sin’s dread sway.
I’d rather have Jesus than anything
This world affords today

By Dallas Holm

Believing in the things you cannot see
Is hard sometimes but it’s the way for me;
‘Cause things I saw began to fall
And slowly fade away;
But things the Lord has shown to me
Are in my heart to stay.

So if all I ever knew is what He told me,
If all I ever saw is what He showed me,
I’d be content to realize He knows me;
And all I’d want to do is live for Him.

Faith is made of things you cannot see,
Things that in my heart I know must be;
To put my faith in things above
Is all that I can do;
In Heaven’s hope and Jesus’ love
The things I know are true.

So if all I ever knew is what He told me,
If all I ever saw is what He showed me,
If all He wants to do is just control me;
Then all I want to do is live for Him.

By Dallas Holm and Phil Johnson

Out there somewhere in the night
Searching, looking for the light
He came in the nick of time
He said, “Child come and be mine”.

Completely taken in
Entirely forgiven of my sin
It took God’s love to find me
As lost as I had been
I’ve been completely taken in.

Right here this is where I’ll stay
He will never go away
Always He will be my Friend
For us there will be no end.

Chorus

He never questioned where I’d been
He took me by the heart and said, “Come on in.”

By Phil Johnson & Dallas Holm

Set your mind on things above
Set your mind on things above
Yeh… you will soon discover
More than you’ve been dreamin’ of
Think about the Father’s love
Think about the Father’s love
And you will feel it
When you set your mind on things above

Have you been discouraged
Are you feeling blue
Runnin’ out of answers
Don’t know what to do?
Turn your eyes to Jesus
Lift your hands to the Heavens above
Open up your heart and
Let Him fill it with His love

Chorus

Have you sought for treasure
In this world below
Has it left you empty
Nothing much to show
Turn your eyes to Jesus
Lift your hands to the Heavens above
Open up your heart and
Let Him fill it with His love

By Dallas Holm

Where do the brokenhearted go
To find a comfort for their pain
So many hurting need to know
The hope there is in Jesus’ name

I tried to make it on my own
I kept on drifting far away
But now I finally have a home
In Jesus love I’ll always stay

Chorus:
I have joy in the time of sorrow
I have peace in the raging storm
I have faith that Jesus holds tomorrow
I have hope, I’m resting in His arms

I’ll carry on ’til Jesus comes
Though trials and snares may come my way
And by His strength the race I’ll run
And by His grace these words I say

Chorus

He said He’d never leave me, never let me go
No matter what may come, this one thing I know

Chorus

By Dallas Holm

Like the waves come to the shore
Like the stream flows to the sea
That’s how Your love comes to me.

Like the showers come in spring
Bringing blossoms on the tree
That’s how Your love comes to me.

Like a light across the water on a dark and silent night
Lets you know that you are really not alone
Like a father’s voice can tell you everything will be alright
And in His arms you’ll always feel at home
That’s how Your love comes to me.

Like a bird flies towards the heavens
When it’s finally set free
That’s how Your love comes to me.

Like a world of shining colors
To a blind man made to see
That’s how Your love comes to me

By Phil Johnson & Dallas Holm

Seek and find
that’s what they say
Seek and find
find the right way
Where do you go? Where do you find the way?

Read the Book
look in the Word
Read the Book
make the right turn
That’s where you go, that’s where you finally learn.

There’s no life outside of Jesus
Jesus Christ.
There’s no way outside of His way
To survive.
In His life there’s no denying
In His life there’s satisfying
Don’t think twice &
Get a life

Let His life keep coming through
Let His love shine on in you
Trust in His Word to show you what to do.

Seek His face
hold on to His hand
Keep His pace
walk on in His plan
Don’t look back listen to His command.

By Kim Sherman & Dallas Holm

You’ve heard it said before
There is an open door
But you don’t see
How it could be for you.

You’ve been away so long
You think you don’t belong
Yet at the gate
The Father waits for you

It’s time to stand and walk on up
Sit at the table, drink the cup
You have been invited, you will be received
It doesn’t matter where you’ve been
The Father loved you even then
You have been invited. Come on in.

You’ve come the long way home
Your journey’s almost done
You went so far
And now you aren’t the same

You hunger and you thirst
You wait in shame
He bids you come to Him
He calls your name.

By Dallas Holm

There’s just one Lord, one Savior
There’s just one God and Father over us all
There’s just one Master, one Redeemer
Who is in through and over… over us all.

We must bring the message
We must tell the story
Way too many people have never heard.
Go unto the nations,
Share the blessed Gospel;
Show them by our love, the Living Word.

Chorus

There should be no differences between us
In His love He sees us all the same
We are all just members of one family
We are children bonded by His name

Chorus

By Dallas Holm

Walk on the water, stand on the sea
Anything you can imagine is a possibility
If My words abide in you and you abide in Me
Walk on the water, stand on the sea.

A few men in a fishing boat sailing out to sea
They did not realize what was soon to be
The wind and waves began to roll
Battered fear into their soul
Hope was gone as far as they could see

Then Jesus came to them walking on the waves
With just a word of peace they would all be saved.
Peter said: “Lord if that’s you,
Let me walk on water too.”
Jesus said: “Step out and just have faith.”

Nothing is impossible if you just have faith
Miracles from Him you will receive
Ask it all in Jesus name, resting in His grace
Trust your heart to Him and just believe.

If you are in a storm tossing to and fro
If you’ve lost sight of shore, don’t know where to go
He is still the same today
His voice the wind and waves obey
He will be a harbor for your soul.

By Dallas Holm

Lord, what is happening to me
Seems like I’m losing all that’s dear
Is this the way it’s meant to be
Must my joy be drowned in fear

You’ve always been there holding my hand
Now, there are things I just don’t understand

Though You slay me, I will trust You
Though You try me, I will love You
If You take my life away
With my dying breath I’ll say
Though You slay me, I will trust You

Why have my friends all gone away
Why must I feel so all alone
I just can’t find the words to say
This is a pain I’ve never known

Chorus

I know that my Redeemer lives
I know one day He will come
And even though this mortal man will die
I will see God

God, it must have broke Your heart
to send Your Son away;
Knowin’ all the time the final price
He’s have to pay.
Left His home in glory and became
a common man.
And because He did I am what I am.

For I’m a child of the King
who made ev’rything;
I’m a son of the One
who makes my heart to sing
Songs of joy, songs of praise
I’ll sing them all I can
To the One who came
and made me what I am.

Now I am a man and have a baby
Of my own;
I wonder could I send my baby off
and all alone.
To help someone, somewhere, somehow
to set some captive free.
Could I do the same for Him
who did the same for me.

Now I’m a child of the King
who made ev’rything;
I’m a son of the One
who makes my heart to sing
Songs of joy, songs of praise
I’ll sing them all I can
To the One who came
and made me what I am.

Repeat Chorus

By Dallas Holm

Well, they rode into town in the dark, by the light of the moon;
Mary felt her Baby and she knew that it was coming soon;
All they needed was a small room where she could lay her head;
All they wanted for Jesus was a bed.
Well, they stopped at the Holiday Inn, there was a convention;
They said, “Sorry, ain’t got no room without a reservation.
But I’m sure if I call ahead, well, I can find you a bed.
But you might have to wait ’til morning instead.”

Well, if they’d known Baby Jesus was King,
And if they’d known He created ev’rything,
I feel sure they’d given Him the executive suite;
But as it was, they just got sent on down the street.

Well, they walked a bit further ’til they came to another inn;
And the man said, “Sorry, we’re full, but ya’ll come back again.”
Well, now Joe said it could not wait ’cause it was getting late;

Well, if he’d known Baby Jesus was King,
And if he’d knows He created ev’rything,
I feel sure He’d found them a better place to stay;
But as it was, Baby Jesus got born there in the hay.

Well, now I know that my Jesus is King,
And I know He created ev’rything;
That’s why I’ve given Him the best room from the start,
And that’s why Jesus makes His home inside of my heart.

Face Of Mercy

By Dallas Holm

I was sinking deep in sin; could see no peaceful shore
And my heavy heart was pulling me deeper down
There was no way to help myself
I’d tried that all too long
And with my life before my eyes I heard a sound
I was in Sunday School in second grade
Mrs. Aretha said to me: “You may feel you’ve reached the end someday
Look to Jesus; seek His face.”

Turn toward the sky; you’ll find the face of mercy
He’s loved you all this time; that’s why the face of mercy
Sees beyond what you’ve done wrong
Forgiving till the guilt is gone

I stood up a different man; repentance felt so good
I found it hard to keep from singing “Oh Happy Day”
I thought of all the ones I know who need Him just as bad
And at the chance to share His love what I would say
I’d say I used to think “Amazing Grace” was just an old gospel song
But when I became a wretch like me my empty heart became His home

Turn toward the sky; you’ll find the face of mercy
He’s loved you all this time; that’s why the face of mercy
Sees beyond what you’ve done wrong
Forgiving till the guilt is gone

By Dallas Holm

Sometimes this life can get confusing;
Sometimes the days can seem so long.
I’m trying to win, but feel I’m losing;
I’m doing right, but feeling wrong.

I need a power that is greater;
I need a faith to keep me strong.
I need a love to give me courage;
I need a Savior who can guide me through the storm.

I need strength
To hold on to you, I need strength
To know what to do, I need strength
Just to make it through the day.
I need strength
Just to hold your hand, I need strength
Just to make a stand, I need a strength
Just to know Your plan for me.

I want You in my life completely;
All that I need you give by grace.
When life is hard You come so sweetly;

Chorus

By Rhonda Gunn

Some like to lift up holy hands
Some like to dance like David danced
Some cry; others just smile
Some like to stand up; others bow

It’s the heart that God sees
Offered in sincerity
In spirit and truth we are called
There’s liberty in Him for all

When we worship Him
With our heart and soul
We can enter in
Where the river flows
It’s a higher place
Up where the spirit blows
When we worship Him

Each one has their secret place
And their own garment of praise
And the joy that we’re all searching for
Is found in the presence of the Lord

By Billy Sprague, Bill Baumgart and Dallas Holm

Verse:
She was brought before the master
She was found in compromise
And her life was a disaster
Till she looked into her Saviour’s eyes
And she saw no accusation
Her accusers slipped away
A complete emancipation
Caused her thankful heart to say

Chorus:
There can be peace tonight
In the heart of the forgiven
And everything’s all right
For the soul that’s been set free
Like every sleeping child
Knows the gentle smile of Heaven
There’s mercy in the rouch of
The Man from Galilee.

Verse:
He had lived his life in blindness
What could he aspire to be
Then the Saviour showed him kindness
And He made his blinded eyes to see
When they asked about his story
Who it was who gave him sight
He said: “I was blind this morning
But I’m seeing fine tonight.”

Verse:
There is a love that I have known
It’s a revelation
Here in my life it stands alone
As my soul’s salvation
A refuge I hold on to
The one thing that sees me thru

Verse:
It comes from the One Who bled and died
To be my forgiver
It flows from His hands, He feet, His side
Into a river
That rushes fast and free
And washes over me.

Chorus:
Heaven and earth may pass away
But I know I’ve found amazing grace
And I’m only waiting on the day
When I can see Jesus face to face
I want to see Jesus face to face.

Verse:
He has been faithful through the years
He has never wavered
He’s calmed every storm and dried my tears
He’s my only Savior
I don’t know where I would be
If He hadn’t rescued me

There is a kingdom, not of this world
And those who seek will find a priceless pearl
The walls are Jasper, the city Gold
At the very heart sits the Saviors throne

This heavenly home awaits
If we never lose faith

We’ve got it made
Beyond belief
More blessing and beauty
Than we can conceive
The Father of Mercy
Prepared us a place
By His saving grace
We’ve got it made

There’ll be no struggles, there’ll be no fears
No sign of suffering and there’ll be no tears
A celebration, forevermore
A song unending lifting up our Lord

His promise is guaranteed
For eternity

Words by Joel Lindsey, Music by Joe Beck

Midnight seemed longer than it ever had before
From inside their prison cell
But Silas and Paul could not be swayed at all
So they fell on their knees and they sang

To the glory, the glory of God
To the marvelous glory of God
Every word, every breath
Every action, every step
To the glory, the glory of God

Life was harder since her husband passed away
She didn’t have a lot to bring
Her offering seemed so small, but she came and brought it all
To the temple where she gave it all away

To the glory, the glory of God
To the marvelous glory of God
Every word, every breath
Every action, every step
To the glory, the glory of God

The crowd stood watching as the cross was being raised
To crucify the guiltless One
To fulfill the Father’s plan, He became the perfect Lamb
And He stretched out His arms and He died

To the glory, the glory of God
To the marvelous glory of God
Every word, every breath
Every action, every step
To the glory, the glory of God

Your heart is broken; Your dreams are crushed
The joy has left your heart in a rush
Your mind is reeling; Your body’s numb
Where did this feeling of fear come from

This thing has taken you by surprise
Well, I can tell by the look in your eyes
You start to wonder where can I go
Well, I’m your brother and I want you to know

I will fight for you; I will fight for you
I’ll get down on my knees
And ask the Savior please to make it right for you
I will fight for you

Barely surviving, just holding on
Sometime you think that your hope is gone
Well, don’t you listen to Satan’s lies
I know the Lord and I’m on your side

Chorus

Don’t ever think you’re alone
‘Cause He will always be there
He’ll put your name in my mind
And you will be in my prayer

Chorus

By Dallas Holm

Before Your Throne

By Dallas Holm

Here we are in your presence
Lifting holy hands to You
Here we are praising Jesus
For the things He’s brought us through.

I don’t have the words to tell You how I feel,
I just don’t know what I can say
I’m not worthy to speak Your Holy Name,
Yet You tell me You love me just the same.

Here we are in Your presence
Lifting holy hands to You
Here we are praising Jesus
For the things He’s brought us through.

I never thought that it could be this way,
And I never thought I’d be the one,
But You found me dying in my sin.
And You looked at me with love that took me in.

Here we are in Your presence
Lifting holy hands to You
Here we are praising Jesus
For the things He’s brought us through.
For the things He’s brought us through.

Well, my Jesus is a river of love
And He flows from Heaven above
He’ll take every sin you have
And He’ll wash it away
You just jump in the water today
You won’t drown if you learn to pray
Well, my Jesus is a river of love
And He’s flowing your way

There’s a river flowing
Out from Heaven’s sea
There’s a river reachin’
Out for you and me
Streams of living water
Clear as they can be
So come on in, the water’s fine
And it will set you free

If you need a cleansing
Children don’t delay
There’s a mighty river
Flowin’ here today
It can wash and make you
Clean as you can be
So come on in the water’s fine
And it will set you free

Long, hot days, deathly still
Test the mind, try the will
Sleepless nights seem so long
Toss and turn, peace is gone.

I closed the door, turned the key
But I can’t hide inside of me
There You stand just outside
Help unlock this door of pride.

This dwelling place was not designed
For me to live alone inside
I need Your love, Your helping hand
Without Your strength, this house won’t stand.

So, I open up my windows
I open up my doors
Draw the curtain back
So I can feel the breeze once more
Breath of the living God
Wind of the Spirit
Blow through me
Currents of Holy wind
Rush through my being
Blow… through me.

Now I’m clean fresh and new
From the Holy breath of You.
Here I stand open wide
Nothing now left to hide.

So, I open up my windows
I open up my doors
Draw the curtain back
So I can feel the breeze once more
Breath of the living God
Wind of the Spirit
Blow through me
Currents of Holy wind
Rush through my being
Blow… through me.

Verse:
So many paint such a pretty picture
Soften it up and make it light
They don’t paint the Cross of Scripture
They just can’t seem to get it right
There He hung in agony
Giving Himself for you and me
On a cross alone He died
Shedding blood – the crucified
Shedding blood – the crucified

Chorus:
And the blood was red, the pain was real
I cant imagine how it must feel
To be nailed to a cross
Such an unfair deal
The blood was red and the pain was real
The blood was red and the pain was real

Verse:
Should have been you and me
Hanging on that cruel tree
It was us who caused the shame
We’re the ones, were to blame
But He came and took our place
Bore the load of sins disgrace
Bound by sin to Calvary’s tree
Shed His blood to set us free
Shed His blood to set us free

Verse:
Why do I do the things I do, why do I say the things I say
Sing the songs I sing, pray the prayers I pray
Why do I push myself so hard to go the second mile
Knowing my reward may only be a smile

Chorus:
Well there’s a picture in my mind that time can’t erase
There’s a memory of days gone by that helps me keep my place
It’s in the front of my mind, in the back of my mind
To the left and to the right there’s an image of man on a cross

Verse:
Why should I care what others think
What do I care what others say
When He has won my heart
And I have found my way
What do I care what it may cost
Though it may cost my all
To walk the narrow path
And hear His silent call

Bridge:
I’m constrained by the love of Christ
I’m compelled to express His light

Cause in the front of my mind, in the back of my mind
To the left and to the right there’s an image of a man on a cross
In the front of my mind, in the back of my mind
To the left and to the right there’s an image of a man on a cross
To the left and to the right there’s an image of a man on a cross.

Our God is a strong city
Our God is a strong city
Well, the walls that surround it
Are built with prayer
It’s got the guard of the Holy Ghost
Everywhere
Our God is a strong city

Verse:
The storms may come
The winds may blow
The waters rise
The waves may roll
When the enemy comes
In like a flood
Just say Jesus and
Plead the blood
Our God is a strong city

Verse:
The enemy comes
To kill and destory
But he can’t match the strength
Or power of joy
Well, the enemy’s army
Is stormin’ the gates
But the Son is risen
And they’re a little too late
Cause our God is a strong city

There is a higher place
Than I have ever been.
There is a deeper well
Than I can comprehend.
There is a greater love
Than I have ever known.
And it’s here, yes it’s here;
Lord, it’s here before Your Throne.

There is a greater mercy
Than man could ere conceive.
There is a stronger faith
Than we would dare believe.
There is a place of rest
Where we’ll never feel alone.
And it’s here, yes it’s here;
Lord, it’s here before Your Throne.

So I bow down before You
And cry holy.
Lord, I fall at Your feet
And praise Your name.
I am bathed in the light
Of Your glory.
And it’s here, yes it’s here;
Lord, it’s here before your throne.

There are rivers of forgiveness
To cleanse the soul from sin.
There are healing waters flowing
To heal the wounds within.
There’s a light of pure redemption
To lead the wayward home.
And it’s here, yes it’s here
Lord, it’s here before Your throne.

You are the reason I lift my hands
You are the reason I take my stand
To praise You and serve you
These are the fruits of my choice
I bow down before You
Unto your name I will lift up my voice
Unto your name I will lift up my voice

You are the Maker of everything
The Great Creator, to You I sing
Glory and honor
And blessing unto the Lord
Wisdom and power
Are in the truth of Your marvelous Word
Are in the truth of Your marvelous Word

And there are no other gods beside Thee
You and you alone are the only living God
So in Your wings of mercy Lord please hide me
Touch me with Your Spirit and fill me with Your love

You are my High Priest, the Righteous One
Thy kingdom come Lord, Thy will be done
On earth as it is in
Your heaven up above
Ruling and reigning
In perfect peace and with unfailing love
In perfect peace and with unfailing love

Verse:
The years they come and go
Like clouds on a windy day
The moments pass so swiftly
Our lives just slip away
Sometimes we fear that life
Is all we’re living for
But there is more, more than we’ve ever dreamed

Chorus:
There’s more, more than we’ve ever dreamed
More, more than we’ve ever imagined
There’s a brand new world
That lies before us
Heaven’s home is waiting for us
(With) more, more than we’ve every dreamed

Verse:
The mercies of the Lord
Are fresh and new each day
The treasure of His grace
Will never fade away
He is our only hope
The one we’re waiting for
And still there’s more, more than we’ve ever dreamed

Bridge:
More, more than we imagined
More, more than tongue can tell

Who makes the wind to blow?
Who brings the winter snow?
Who makes the grass to grow?
Who saves the human soul?

Jesus, Jesus, He makes all to be;
Jesus, Jesus, He means all to me.

Who calms the troubles sea?
Who sets the captive free;
Who makes the blind to see?
Who means the world to me?

Jesus, Jesus, He makes all to be;
Jesus, Jesus, He means all to me.

So you got your heart broke in two,
And you hurt so bad you don’t know what to do;
And you think that you’re the only one who’s ever felt this way,
But there was sure another One another day.

And He died of a broken heart,
It broke for you and me.
He loved us more than words can say,
And more than we could see;
His death was not from pain He felt while hanging on that tree;
No, He died of a broken heart for you and me.

And it seems you’ve come to the end,
And you’re standing all alone without a friend;
And you’re just so sure that no one’s ever hurt this bad before,
But there was One who hurt this bad and even more!

And He died of a broken heart,
It broke for you and me.
He loved us more than words can say,
And more than we could see;
His death was not from pain He felt while hanging on that tree;
No, He died of a broken heart
Oh, He died of a broken heart,
Yes, He died because He loves you and me!

I got love, love, love in my heart,
I got peace like a river, never will part;
I got joy on my mind, a smile on my face;
Where I used to have hate I got love in its place!

Spent some time livin’ in sin;
Heartache and sorrow and no peace within;
But then I met Jesus, He changed my whole life;
He took all the wrong and made everything right
And gave me-

Love, love, love in my heart,
I got peace like a river, never will part;
I got joy on my mind, a smile on my face;
Where I used to have hate I got love in its place!

I’m not the man that I used to be;
I’m diff’rent, I ‘m happy as happy can be;
I just can’t explain the way that I feel-
All I can say is that I know it is real,
Real-

Love, love, love in my heart,
I got peace like a river, never will part;
I got joy on my mind, a smile on my face;
Where I used to have hate I got love in its place!

Ever since the day You came into my life I been changed!
Ev’rything’s diff’rent,
My whole life has been rearranged!

I got love, love, love in my heart,
I got peace like a river, never will part;
I got joy on my mind, a smile on my face;
Where I used to have hate I got love in its place,
I got love, love, love in my heart!

Why don’t you laugh, and why don’t you smile?
Why don’t you just praise the Lord for a while,
‘Cause you’re saved, saved, saved
And you ought to feel good.
Well, you were so wrong before,
But now you fina’lly did the best thing you could.

Well, don’t you worry, and don’t be distressed;
Trust in Jesus and just do your best,
And you’re saved, saved, saved;
All you gotta do is try, try, try.
And if you’re saved in this life,
You’ll be saved in the sweet bye and bye.

We don’t deserve the love that He shares;
We don’t deserve the way that He cares.
I guess it’s just that He loves us so,
And He wants everyone to know.
We shouldn’t worry and we shouldn’t fret
Because our God has never failed us yet,
‘Cause we’re saved, saved, saved;
It’s the only way to be.
Well, now I tried the other,
But Jesus is the way for me!

We don’t deserve the love that He shares;
We don’t deserve the way that He cares.
I guess it’s just that He loves us so,
And He wants everyone to know.
We shouldn’t worry and we shouldn’t fret
Because our God has never failed us yet,
‘Cause we’re saved, saved, saved;
It’s the only way to be.
Well, now I tried the other,
But Jesus is the way for me.
Well, now I tried the other,
And Jesus is the way for me!

Chorus:
It will be worth the waiting
All the anticipatin’
When we see Jesus – When we see Jesus.
It will be worth the miles
All of our many trials
When we see Jesus – When we see Jesus.

Verse:
Sometimes I get so tired
That I just want to go away,
Wish He would come and take me home today.
Being with Him would be better,
But for you I will choose to stay
A little bit longer so you might know the way.

Repeat Chorus

Bridge:
Standing in His presence there’ll be love and perfect peace,
Cloudy days will all have passed away,
Nothing to alarm us, nothing there can harm us,
Living in that never ending day.

By Dallas Holm

The place was white as snow
and pure as finest gold.
It had the look of new,
yet had the look of old.
I felt like I was home,
but felt so far away,
In fear I thought to leave,
but felt the urge to stay.

And then a silence fell
like none I’d ever known.
I stood among the millions,
I stood there all alone.
His face was like the sun,
His eyes were like the sea,
His voice was like the thunder
rolling through eternity.

And…
I saw the Lord
He was high and lifted up
and rightfully adored

And…
I saw the Lord
and He saw me

And then from sleep awakened
I looked into the night.
The darkness overtaken
By a bright and shining light.
I couldn’t understand it
I couldn’t reason how,
And then my eyes beheld Him
I wasn’t dreaming now

And…
I saw the Lord
He was high and lifted up
And rightfully adored,

And…
I saw the Lord
And He saw me

By Jeff Silvey and Billy Simon

I’ve seen seeds fall from calloused hands;

Oh to be a link in this line of faith,
To help steer somebody to see His face;

Chorus

By Dallas Holm and Phil Johnson

Out there somewhere in the night
Searching, looking for the light
He came in the nick of time
He said, “Child come and be mine”.

Completely taken in
Entirely forgiven of my sin
It took God’s love to find me
As lost as I had been
I’ve been completely taken in.

Right here this is where I’ll stay
He will never go away
Always He will be my Friend
For us there will be no end.

Chorus

He never questioned where I’d been
He took me by the heart and said, “Come on in.”

Foundations

Words by Rhea Miller, Music by George Beverly Shea, Arrangement by Dallas Holm

I’d rather have Jesus
than silver or gold
I’d rather have Him
than riches untold
I’d rather have Jesus
than houses or land
I’d rather be led
by His nail scarred hand

Than to be the king of a vast domain
And be held in sin’s dread sway.
I’d rather have Jesus than anything
This world affords today.

When judgment day is drawing night
Where shall I be
When God the works of man shall try
Where shall I be

Oh where shall I be
When the last trumpet sounds
Where shall I be when it sounds so loud
When it sounds so loud
That it wakes up the dead
Where shall I be when it sounds

When east and west the fire shall roam
Where shall I be
And how will it be with my poor soul
Where shall I beAnd now I love You, too.

By Lehman

The love of God is great far
Than tongue or pen can ever tell,
It goes beyond the highest star
And reaches to the lowest hell;
The guilty pair, bowed down with care,
God gave His Son to win:
His erring child He reconciled
And pardoned from his sin.

Could we with ink the ocean fill
And were the skies of parchment made,
Were ev’ry stalk on earth a quill
And ev’ry man a scribe by trade,
To write the love of God above
Would drain the ocean dry,
Nor could the scroll contain the whole
Tho stretched from sky to sky.

O love of God, how rich and pure!
How measureless and strong!
It shall forevermore endure –
The saints’ and angels’ song.

By Joseph M. Scriven

What a Friend we have in Jesus,
All our sins and griefs to bear!
What a privilege to carry
Everything to God in prayer!
O what peace we often forfeit,
O what needless pain we bear,
All because we do not carry
Everything to God in prayer!

Have we trials and temptations?
Is there trouble anywhere?
We should never be discouraged,
Take it to the Lord in prayer.
Can we find a friend so faithful
Who will all our sorrows share?
Jesus knows our every weakness,
Take it to the Lord in prayer.

Are we weak and heavy laden,
Cumbered with a load of care?
Precious Savior, still our Refuge
Take it to the Lord in prayer.
Do they friends despise, forsake thee?
Take it to the Lord in prayer;
In His arms He’ll take and shield thee,
Thou wilt find a solace there.

King of my life, I crown Thee now,
Thine shall the glory be;
Lest I forget Thy thorn-crowned brow,
Lead me to Calvary.

Lest I forget Gethsemane;
Lest I forget Thine agony;
Lest I forget Thy love for me,
Lead me to Calvary.

Show me the tomb where Thou wast laid,
Tenderly mourned and wept;
Angels in robes of light arrayed
Guarded Thee whilst Thou slept.

Chorus

Let me like Mary, through the gloom,
Come with a gift to Thee;
Show to me now the empty tomb,
Lead me to Calvary.

Chorus

May I be willing, Lord, to bear
Daily my cross for Thee;
Even Thy cup of grief to share,
Thou hast borne all for me.

ChorusAnd Jesus is the way for me!

I am weak but thou art strong;
Jesus, keep me from all wrong;
I’ll be satisfied as long
As I walk, let me walk close to Thee.

Just a closer walk with Thee,
Grant it, Jesus, is my plea,
Daily, walking close to Thee,
Let it be, dear Lord, let it be.

Thro’ this world of toils and snares,
If I falter, Lord, who cares?
Who with me my burden shares?
None but Thee, dear Lord, none but Thee.

When my feeble life is o’er,
Time for me will be no more;
Guide me gently, safely o’er
To Thy kingdom shore, to Thy shore.

Jesus, keep me near the cross
There a precious fountain,
Free to all, a healing stream,
Flows from Calv’ry’s mountain.

In the cross, in the cross
Be my glory ever,
Till my raptured soul shall find
Rest, beyond the river.

Near the cross, a trembling soul,
Love and mercy found me;
There the Bright and Morning Star
Sheds its beams around me.

Chorus

Near the cross! O Lamb of God,
Bring its scenes before me;
Help my walk from day to day
With its shadows o’er me.

Chorus

Near the cross I’ll watch and wait,
Hoping, trusting ever,
Till I reach the golden strand
Just beyond the river.

Chorus

This world is not my home
I’m just a passin’ through
My treasures are laid up
Somewhere beyond the blue
The angels beckon me
From Heaven’s open door
And I can’t feel at home
In this world anymore

Oh Lord, you know, I have no friend like you.
If Heaven’s not my home, then Lord what will I do?
The angels beckon me from Heaven’s open door
And I can’t feel at home in this world anymore.

My savior pardoned me
From guilt and shame I know
I’ll trust His saving grace
While traveling here below
I know He’ll welcome me
At Heaven’s open door
And I can’t feel at home
In this world anymore

By George Bennard

On a hill far away stood an old rugged cross,
The emblem of suff’ring and shame;
And I love that old cross where the dearest and best
For a world of lost sinners was slain.

So I’ll cherish the old rugged cross,
Till my trophies at last I lay down;
I will cling to the old rugged cross,
And exchange it some day for a crown.

O that old rugged cross, so despised by the world,
Has a wondrous attraction for me;
For the dear Lamb of God left His glory above
To bear it to dark Calvary.

Chorus

In the old rugged cross, stained with blood so divine,
A wondrous beauty I see;
For ’twas on that old cross Jesus suffered and died
To pardon and sanctify me.

Chorus

To the old rugged cross I will ever be true,
Its shame and reproach gladly bear;
Then He’ll call me some day to my home far away,
Where His glory forever I’ll share.

Precious Lord take my hand
Lead me on, help me stand
I am tired, I am weak, I am worn
Thro the storm, through the night
Lead me on to the light
Take my hand precious Lord
Lead me home

When my way grows drear
Precious Lord linger near
When my life is almost gone
Hear my cry, hear my call
Hold my hand lest I fall
Take my hand precious Lord
Lead me home

Words by Annie Flint and Music by Hubert Mitchell

Verse:
He giveth more grace when the burden grows greater;
He sendeth more strength when the labors increase
To added affliction He addeth His mercy
To multiplied trials, His multiplied peace.

Chorus:
His love has no limit
His grace has no measure
His pow’r has no boundary known unto men
For out of His infinite riches in Jesus
He giveth, and giveth, and giveth again!

Verse:
When we have exhausted our store of endurance
When our strength has failed ere the day is half done
When we reach the end of our hoarded resources
Our Father’s full giving is only begun.

Repeat Chorus

What a fellowship, what a joy divine,
Leaning on the everlasting arms;
What a blessedness, what a peace is mine,
Leaning on the everlasting arms.

Leaning, leaning,
Safe and secure from all alarms;
Leaning, leaning,
Leaning on the everlasting arms

O how sweet to walk in this pilgrim way,
Leaning on the everlasting arms;
O, how bright the path grows from day to day,
Leaning on the everlasting arms.

Chorus

What have I to dread, what have I to fear,
Leaning on the everlasting arms?
I have blessed peace with my Lord so near,
Leaning on the everlasting arms.

Look full in His wonderful face,
And the things of earth will grow strangely dim
In the light of His glory and grace

Good News Blues

By Dallas Holm

Jesus got ahold of my life and He won’t let me go!
Jesus got into my heart; He got into my soul!
I used to be oh so sad,
But now I’m just a free and glad,
‘Cause Jesus got ahold of my life and He won’t let go!

Sometimes I remember how I used to be livin’ in sin;
I tried to act happy and free but I wasn’t within;
I fooled a lot of friends of mine,
They tho’t I had some peace of mind,
But I never had a thing until I opened up and let Jesus in!

You try to laugh your way thro’ life but you’re not gainin’ ground;

Heart of mine, heart of mine,
Since you met Jesus, well you been so fine;
I’m so glad He came into this heart of mine;
I’m so glad He came into this heart in time.

I used to have such hate in my heart,
No peace of mind;
I thought my world was fallin’ apart,
But then the Lord came by just in time,

Into this heart of mine, heart of mine,
Since you met Jesus, well you been so fine;
I’m so glad He came into this heart of mine.

They said I’d never make it;
They said it would not last.
They said I’d never get away
From all that’s in my past.
They said I would not last a day,
They said I’d be right back;
But here I am still with You, Lord,
And I wonder where they’re at.

Oh, You and me, Jesus,
We sure fooled ’em all.
They just thought they knew for sure
That I was gonna fall.
Well, I’m sure far from perfect,
As You can plainly see;
But after all these years, oh Lord,
It’s still You and me.

My friends they all did leave me;
They hung me out to dry.
Sometimes I’d get so lonesome, Lord,
I’d just hand my head and cry.
I guess they thought they’d show me
And I guess they had their fun;
But it really does not matter much
Because You’re still number one.

Oh, You and me, Jesus,
We sure fooled ’em all.
They just thought they knew for sure
That I was gonna fall.
Well, I’m sure far from perfect,
As You can plainly see;
But after all these years, oh Lord,
It’s still You and me.

Can’t see the light at the end of the tunnel
Can’t see that far down the road
Waiting in darkness I’m tempted to stumble
Weary from bearing this load
Desperately weighing all of my options
Scheming to find my own way
But after all of my planning is over
This is the most I can say

Lord I’m waiting, Lord I’m waiting
And I’m not gonna move
Till I’m able to prove Your will
Lord I’m waiting, Lord I’m waiting
Listening for You with my heart

Lord it’s so easy to find a solution
Something that seems right to me
But plans that are born out of my own confusion
Will not help my blind eyes to see
All of the steps that You’ve laid out before me
Steps that are Yours and not mine
So I’ll be content just to wait in Your presence
Patiently biding Your time

Repeat Chorus

Lord I have need of patience
Help me to rest in You
I am detained in my weakness
There’s not a thing I can do

But He’s stayin’ just the same.

And He’ll be here right on time.

Verse:
Life can get oh so hard;
You can be oh so blue.
Things can get so darn complicated;
You just don’t know what to do.
Well, listen to me my friend,
You got nothing to lose.
You might as well listen;
Listen to the good news blues.

Chorus:
You might as well listen;
You might as well listen.
This could be a brand new day;
It’s yours to choose.
So come over here;
Lend me your ear.
You got nothing to lose.
You might as well listen;
Listen to the good news blues.

Verse:
Have you been feelin’ down;
Strugglin’ ‘neath a heavy load.
Have you kind of lost your sense of direction;
Travelin’ down a lonely road.
Well, listen to what I say;
This is a song you can use.
You might as well listen;
Listen to the good news blues.

Chorus:
You might as well listen;
You might as well listen.
This could be a brand new day;
It’s yours to choose.
So come over here;
Lend me your ear.
You got nothing to lose.
You might as well listen;
Listen to the good news blues.

Bridge:
God loves you more than anything;
And that’s the gospel truth.
That oughta make your little heart beat;
That oughta get you on your feet.

(and just) Come over here
And lend me your ear;
You got nothin’ to lose.
You might as well listen;
Listen to the good news blues.

Verse:
I recall when you cut me loose
And let me go.
Set adrift on an ocean;
I couldn’t see the shore.
But keep your eyes on the horizon
‘Cause you might see me again;
‘Cause the tide always comes back in.

Verse:
Well you pushed me out the door;
You left me in the street.
Not too smooth; not too kind;
Not too discreet.
But you know that I can always find
My way back here again;
Like the tide always comes back in.

Chorus:
Out of sight out of mind,
That’s what they always say.
There were times when I hurt so bad
I nearly lost my way.
But I’m comin’ round and I’m comin’ back;
You’ll be seeing me again;
‘Cause the tide always comes back in.

Bridge:
I’ve been ignored and pushed around;
Taken all that you can give.
I’ve been evicted from my own life,
Just like I never lived.

Verse:
When you nailed me to a tree
You posted your own sins.
When you thought you took my life,
Well, that’s when life began.
And I’m comin’ back like I said I would
And no one knows just when;
But the tide always comes back in.

Chorus:
Out of sight out of mind,
That’s what they always say.
When you laid me in the ground
I guess you thought I’d stay.
But keep your eyes on the horizon
You’ll be seeing me again;
‘Cause the tide always comes back in.

Put my trust in a long time friend;
Said he’d be there ’til the end.
But when the goin’ got tough;
When the goin got tough;
Well my friend just slipped away,
When the goin’ got tough.

Thought I’d make it by myself,
Didn’t need nobody else.
But when the goin’ got tough;
When the goin’ got tough;
I couldn’t help myself,
When the goin’ got tough.

When I didn’t know what to do;
When I didn’t know what to say;
When I didn’t think I could make it,
One more endless day.
Well, you came into my life
And your love was more than enough.
Oh, you saved me,
When the goin’ got tough

Thought I’d take the money and run.
Thought that I could buy me some fun.
But when the goin’ got tough;
When the goin’ got tough.
I couldn’t buy myself a smile,
When the goin’ got tough.

Turned on the TV on a Saturday night,
Nothin’ worth watchin’, well now that ain’t right.
I flicked the channel on the cable TV
And there’s some preacher lookin’ back at me.
(saying) “Send me your money, plant your seed”.
(well it) feels like commitment, but it smells like greed.
(he said) “I’ll give you all the magic words to say
To make your money problems go away”.

(just say) Money cometh; money cometh;
Money cometh; that’s what he said.

Another preacher said, “don’t pay your bills;
Send them to me and I’ll cure your ills.
We’ll stack ’em all up in a great big pile
Then we’ll light ’em on fire and we’ll pray for awhile”.
I got to tell ya, I’m a little bit afraid;
I think the bill collector wants to get paid.
When he comes knockin’ at my front door,
I think he’s gonna want to hear some more

(than just) Money cometh; money cometh;
Money cometh; that’s what he said.

“Send me your money, plant your seed”.
(well it) Feels like commitment, but it smells like greed.
(he said) “I’ll give you all the magic words to say
To make your money problems go away”.

A few more thousand people died today;
They got no food, they got no place to stay.
I wish they all just had a big TV
So they could all be just as blessed as me.
Then they could send in their money, plant their seed;
Well maybe then they wouldn’t have such need.
Then they could learn the magic words to say
To make all their problems go away.

(they’d say) Money cometh; money cometh;
Money cometh; that’s what they’d say.

Songs of Hope and Comfort

Throughout all the years of my ministry people have commented on how a particular song got them through a difficult season of their life. In times of loss and sorrow, sickness and trial, a song was often the instrument of God’s grace.

These are my best songs for your times of greatest need.
